This is my story on a recent incident that occurred with my transaction with the owner of Neo-Gold.com. First off, I would to strongly recommend avoiding buying ANYTHING from this website; the self-proclaimed advertisement of "we can prove we're trustworthy" is false statement. Onto the details regarding with the incident:
On March 4th 2014, I've purchased a League Of Legends account from the website. Soon after purchasing the account with $199 USD, I received the username and password to the account. Remember that I was only given the username and password without actually being able to change the primary email of the account. The reason is that Neo-Gold has a security policy to disallow you the email address of the account, not until after 4+ months. Fortunately, it worked and I was able to play on the account and spend time ranking/buying extra skins for the account. However after only three months with full access to the account, an unfortunate incident occurred. On June 21st 2014, when I tried to access the account, the password failed. I was perplexed. I had no ability to change the password (I don't have the primary email) and so I contacted Neo-Gold's owner, Michael on his website. During the time he told me that he would "contact riot" about the incident. I personally believed that the original owner of the account, through riot support, retrieved his account back. That is a clear violation of neo-gold's so-called "safe" accounts. Therefore, after taking his word for to "contact riot", I gave him more than 1 week to resolve this incident (all the way to June 30th). During the time frame, I continuously lolking'ed my account to check its activity until the owner changed his summoner name. On June 30th, I contacted michael to which he conveniently replied by ignoring me completely. And lastly, I know I wasn't keylogged because I have no access to change password due to zero access to primary email of the account.
All in all, this is a strong lesson for myself. I've trusted someone who I shouldn't have. Of course, this my story and my review of Neo-Gold.com. Take my word for it, don't purchase accounts there. It is not worth the risk and the owner takes zero responsibility. It's a strong remark of lacking professionalism. I'm glad to provide any evidence (Website Chatlogs, Email Details, paypal transaction) or further details on anything I've talked about. That's all guys
If I can get my account back, it'll be awesome. But at this point, I've kinda given up.
