I will take that as proof that the original credit card on the account was not a one-time gift card and that the OO did attach his actually billing info and CC to the account.
Turbine is asking for the original credit card owner to contact them.

The OO has stated he does not want to give anyone his ID or billing info, but there is no reason why he cannot contact Turbine directly to recover the account.
Please contact the OO and ask him to send in his info, if he refused I will take that as proof that he did indeed take the account back. Considering the OO is cooperating, I see no reason why this account cannot be recovered.

Well, to be honest there was never a sale thread when I traded the account to wiserthanyou, I saw he had an account listed that he was willing to accept trades on, and I PMd him about the LM account I had that I would trade him for.
Me and wiserthanyou had some history together, so it was a fairly informal deal, I can get the skype convo if needed. I did not specify a warranty, I never have had an issue like this so I did not think to specify one.
As far as a warranty that I extended to katie1992, I had no contact with this user until this thread was opened after the account was lost. The contact was between wiserthanyou and katie1992.
I will get back in touch with the original owner, but I do not think that will go anywhere, as I have already asked for the billing info 4-5 times.
I find it odd that I had the account for so long, then within 2 weeks of me trading the account it is somehow recalled, or lost. However, if I am somehow responsible or will be held accountable for this, I will do what I need to to make it right.

He made a thread on EpicNPC, then changed it to "Sold" - the OO could easily mark that off as a ticket to attempt to recover his account back.
I'll agree, it's odd the account is gone but I want it back.
I'll have to have my username changed to I want my account back, as I say it enough.

True, I guess if the original owner does watch these forums still he could have seen that his account was resold, and taken that opportunity to recall account.
Also, it was brought to my attention that the Loremaster was back in the original owner's kin that he was a part of before he sold me the account. Despite what he is telling me, and how genuine he seems, all information seems to point to him, that he did recall.

**** knows but I'll give it a week and if I don't get it back I'll file 5 "account stolen" reports.
(This perm locks LOTRO accounts, until provisioned ID is shown) - google really does help out a lot!
And if it's back in game after that then it's definitely him.
And I'll just report him for selling his account to get it banned, for good.
it's about time turbine replied. Yeah i told nd4 and epic that the lm was back in his original kin and what not and how the person was trolling katie in game saying he bought the account. So how do we go about getting the account back from him and back into katie's hands where it belongs. As far as i know nd4 paid 350 cash for that lm account. If the account cant be taken back will nd4 be refunded his 350?

Just claim a chargeback, I'm sure this community will vouch for you.
As for the other bloke, I'll see what I can do about either getting his account banned or ****ing him up permanently, even if it costs me $100 to ddos him 24/7 then I will do it.

Unfortunatly, I cannot recall the money I originally paid for the account, it is well outside the limits to recall with my bank/PayPal.
Katie1992 lost the original Champ account that was traded for the recalled LM account, and also any money that was put into the LM account by Katie1992 after the trade.
I value katie1992's champ account to be worth approx 200.00 US. Not sure if the money that Katie1992 put into the LM account is to be considered or not.
Yesterday, I sold katie1992 another Lotro account, that I value to be worth 250.00+. Due to this ongoing issue with the LM, I sold it for 150.00, or ~100.00 less than I would have received if I had sold it on the forums.
So, in essence I have absorbed approx. 50% of the loss of Katie1992's champ account. I am an honest guy, so whatever I need to do per this site's policies to make this situation right I will do so. Not sure exactly what I am to be held responsible for in this situation.

I've got a few people inline to dox him and his brother: Manvisha - his information needs to be known to the world for the animal he is.
All I'll do is DOX him, get his moms, dads, uncles, brothers, sisters anythings address/date of birth, pets name, recent houses etc..
Google doxing, it works.
You'll be surprised what people can actually get from you, they've done celebrities and unknown internet hackers like anonymous in the past, I'm willing to pay them $100 to dox them.
It's not that I miss the account, it's the fact he stole it off me!
I'm not so bothered about the account anymore, I just want justice to be paid and no one to suffer except the one that caused all of this, why should I suffer for something you've done?
I'd happily put money on the table to release your confidential life story, names etc..

I hope you well original owner, like the account as you can, because I've also sent a stolen account request in due to the multiple IP's and payment method from different countries on your account; yes, 4 people from different countries have played on your account, the likelihood of their fraud team marking this down is high, explain that one to them

My account had a fair amount of cash on it, decent rank and decent items.
So I'm now loosing out on more that I'm bearing with me, this could have all been avoided if that proon didn't take the account off me. Ahwell, he brought it upon himself.

If the account was worth $400 that you traded to wiserthanyou his compensation should be around $125-150 so that the lose is split evenly.

You accepted the trade of a more valuable account for less valuable one, so now that we are doing compensation I will base it off the actual trade and not the fact that you already lost money because you did an unequal trade. It was your decision to trade the more valuable account for the less, so I will not take that into consideration in the dispute.
