Need to prevent Twitter from being stolen ASAP

I bought a Twitter account from an individual on here and since then I've gotten multiple messages from other stating he's being trying to sell the account to them.

I just got a message including screenshots showing he's just accepted funds to give my account to someone else. I've changed the handle, the email address and the password etc, but if he has the original email address that was used for the account is there any way he can change the password from underneath me?

did you enable two factor authenticator

I've heard (KeemStar) that that's how OurMine is hacking accounts?

I have not heard of that but I guess its possible. But i thought it used google authenticator which means there would be trouble with all sites that protects
