Need Help! Someone is Impersonating me.

Last night someone told me on msn that someone was impersonating me and stole a runescape account from them. He said they was linking my tvm and used a email like mine to scam him. Today i was contacted by yet another person saying someone emailed them from My tvm email.

i changed all my passwords to everything. I scanned my pc looking for viruses and nothing came up but i am just using free avg and spybot. Im thinking he might have maybe phised my email is there anything i can do to stop this and prevent it.

your e-mail is most likely being spoofed, there is very little you can do but maybe write a message in your sig. Sadly people will still get caught because they are somewhat careless and noobish. I had some issues like that a while ago and this is very frustrating because there is little you can do about it and people are going to ***** at you.

thank you momo for the reply yes its very frustration the guy last night was very upset at me until he realized that it truly wasn't me then he apologized. i felt bad for him but told him some tips on how not to be tricked. the guy that contacted me today didn't fall for it but alerted me that someone was impersonating me.
