I have been making successful sales of gold from Lord of the Rings Online MMO (Lotro).
Got the payments successfully (no chargeback/scam), everything is good.
I believe one of my customers sent his payment with the option "Pay for goods and services" instead of "Send money to friends and family" and this resulted in paypal asking for tracking/shipping numbers and invoice. I can't offer any since the items were technically digital in nature.
I successfully sold to this person and got payments, but all his payments were "Pending - must wait 21 days" before I got the money. I am actually fine with this.
The problem is that after a week or so Paypal limited my account so I can't withdraw funds to my bank until I complete a "Resolution Review".
They asked for ID, Bank Statement, SS Number.. which I gave successfully. The problem is they are asking for proof I own the items I am selling, tracking numbers, etc.
I'm guessing it would be bad if I said I was selling gold in an MMO and I'm not quite sure how I would even prove that I am.
I am in daily contact with the person I sell to in Skype and explained to him my problem. I also asked him to somehow contact Paypal and let them know he received the "digital items" that I sent to him.
Any advice on how I should proceed from here?
-Thanks, merchantpete
