First, I am not sure if this is the proper forum to post this question, so if it is in the wrong section, I'm sorry.

Before Battle.net was required ( but was implemented ), I had gotten a lock account from the forums at MD. I merged it onto a new battle.net account with my name and info.

I then traded the account about a month later to a fellow TWV user for his "supposedly" only once traded account ( he got it from the OO ). I have had the account for 6 months now, and today it was recalled. I have no access to the account, and armory shows the toon respec'd, and an alt that has not been touched in ages has been logged onto. I was not keylogged because my other account is fine, and I had an auth.

I have contacted the person I got it from with no response. So now I need to recall my lock account.

My concern is, that I have tons of accounts out there with my name on them. I have had to recall a lot of accounts in the past, and every time I use the old " I was hacked, blah blah blah need my email/password reset ." The last time I did this they got really suspicious as to why I had so many accounts, and had called so many times about those accounts. I have never had to recall one that has been out there for so long before, and don't think the whole " I got hacked " routine will work this time.

I guess long story short, How do I go about recalling my account without arising suspicion? What is the best thing to say?( I have all the info to the account from before it was a battle.net as well. )

Thanks in advance!

dun...dun...dun...CALL!!! Seriously though it's the only way, there is no secret safe way of doing it.

Basically, I have always hated having to recall accounts. This one is the longest since trade account I have ever needed to recall, and am unsure about using the " i was hacked " line on an account that dates back 8 months... Surely blizzard employees are not that stupid to believe it, unless they just don't care and help anyone regardless as long as they have the info ( i am starting to think this is the case )

My personal info is on the battle.net, along with several other accounts out there. I have no way to identify the account I'm wanting to recall beyond the original wow account's name before battle.net merger
( I cannot for the life of me remember the email of the battle.net account when I traded it ) and using my name will certainly pop up at least 5 other WoW accounts, most that are successfully traded/sold already.

am I being too paranoid? does blizzard even care? I just don't want my current accounts at risk because I had to recall an account I will probably not use again.
