Final Fantasy XIV has been gaining a lot of following, it's growing well and although the early game is tedious (quests aren't great sub level 30), it gets better and is very enjoyable.
Unlike most other MMOs, you character can swap classes, so you don't have to create a ton of characters.

Why not Black Desert Online? There's multiple things you can do in that game. So many different stuff to do..

Don't think there's any P2W aspects in there.
