The issue only appears on very old accounts. Your account is new and does not have this issue. Please explain what problem you're having.

The problem has been resolved. Since I couldn’t locate the option to start a thread, I assumed my phone number hadn’t yet been verified. I now know threads can only be started after selecting a specific forum game section.
