I know you are transitioning to a new system but I'd like to report a bug, it may be just me but its across multiple devices and browsers. When I receive replies to messages they are not coming up as new message notifications and showing as read in my inbox.

I tested it now and it works across browsers. I logged into my normal browser first, then logged into my account on a different browser. In both it shows the same amount of inbox notifications and other notifications in the red box.

Can you describe the problem in more detail?

Okay a user messaged me and i responded. Closed my browser. Log in this morning no notifications and the pm was shown as read. I am away and know no one else logged into my account, home computer is disabled. And i just set up laptop to use epicnpc and reset password because I am tired and forgot passwoes.

Okay a user messaged me - Notification active
and i responded. - Notification removed
Closed my browser.

Log in this morning no notifications and the pm was shown as read.
I don't understand this line.

1) After your replied, did the other user reply back?
2) What do you mean "no notification" ?
3) What do you mean by "the pm was shown as read."

If the user didn't reply back, there should have been no notification this morning.
If the user did reply back, it should display in the red box that you have "1 unread conversation".

Are you only talking about the red box or also browser push notifications?

Only about the red box, i do not use browser notifications, when I was a mod i used to get sometimes 20+ at a time.

User pmed me first time - got notification.
I responded. Then he responded.
I got email saying I have a message.
Log in no red box and pm was shown as read. Its happened a few times lately.

If you click the link in the email and it goes directly the the inbox message, it might be marking it as opened which is why the red box alert doesn't appear.

Next time you get an email notification, try going to epicnpc.com instead and see if the red box appears.

We're switching over in a few weeks, so this won't be a problem on the new platform.
