EDIT: Per the replies below, it appears someone else may be misrepresenting themselves as MercyShop via a separate discord account. In any case, buyer beware. Please verify you're speaking with the correct individual.

I recently PMed a user regarding the FFXI account for sale listed below:
https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/nsmn-brd-4-rema-with-chango-almost-done.1668083/
After a couple of days with no reply, I posted a "PM'ed" in the public thread to get his attention. Another user replied to me that the user was accessible via discord with the name MercyShop. I added this user on discord and mentioned a private message on EpicNPC which he verified and we began to discuss the details. He confirmed the account was still available and even offered a discount on my offer if I paid via Bitcoin. I took a day to think about it and declined the Bitcoin offer in favor of PayPal F/F because of the additional protection. After some back and forth, we agreed on the price and I confirmed one last time that he had the information ready to go before I submitted payment.
From that point forward, he proceeded to delay, distract and ultimately disappear from the conversation without ever providing the account information even after confirming payment received via PayPal.
3 days following the initial payment, I advised him that if I did not hear from him, I would dispute the transaction with PayPal. After some additional time with no response. I did just that. Minutes later, he mysteriously appears online asking about the dispute. I explain my justification for the dispute and he agreed to proceed if I could get the dispute lifted. I talked to PayPal about the pending resolution and they responded by closing the dispute, at which point I notified the seller that I expected immediate delivery of the account I had submitted payment for. I provided proof of the dispute being closed and suggested that if he did not comply, my last course of action would be to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
A day later, I finally hear back from him, but instead of delivering the account, he lays on more BS about money on hold, not his fault, blah blah. I ask him one final time - do you have, and are you willing to provide the account information to me immediately? He declined to act until the Paypal hold was released.
At this point, I have blocked him on Discord and called my credit card company to initiate a dispute.
I would copy and paste the entire discord log, but it seems Discord lacks such a feature (export log)
