I bought an account yesterday for $350 https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/sold.1658461/
Everything mentioned in the thread was misleading. If you play PoE you will understand the lingo I am about to use. For ex. 1 H Sword 600 DPS was actually 586 DPS. Over 100 Exalts in gear was less than 50 Exalts in gear on Harvest league. Image showing 49 exalts in standard was only 9 Exalts. He mentioned Standard had over 100 Exalts in gear scattered which there was none. Only pure currency adding up to 40Exalts. He also mentioned account had $900 - $1000 which was also false after calculating everything total came out to $660. Thread mentioned that Champion lvl 95 impale was BiS which I automatically assume it's Best in Slot. After reviewing it was no where close to geared infact it had gems that weren't even 20/20 or 21/20 yet only 18/20 or lvl 19. I have dealt with this person in the past back in 2019 so I trusted him but after reviewing the account everything above is what I found out.
I also posted in mod forums to get opinions from other moderators before proceeding here.
I also contacted him and proposed 2 options
1. Please refund $100 that will make up for everything missing on the account.
or
2. Refund the $350 completely and I will give the whole account back including all the gear that was on the character minus the sword which was sold for 30exalts. (I told him he will get 30 exalts in pure currency back with everything)
Below in the screenshots you can see him mentioning $80 in currencies on standard. His currency on standard was worth $12 USD after checking.
His sword 586 DPS = 27 - 30 Exalts on Harvest
His original post 600 DPS = Starting price 53 Exalts on Harvest
He declined so that's why I had to create this thread to have Mods look at this and decide next steps.

What account information did the seller provide you at the time of sale? (ID, SQA, etc)
How long did you have the account before it was recalled?
