I am posting this ad out of curiosity as to if I could fetch a buyer for the account. As interesting as Wrath of the Lich King seems, I am starting courses again in a few weeks and would realistically prefer to focus on other things. That being said, sale is not entirely guaranteed, but it would be a consideration if I fetch any offers. I apologize if my being a new user is unsettling, although I was referred to this site by someone I know from another forum, and figured that I would check it out and see how it goes.
If it is possible to transfer the characters themselves and for me to maintain my account, please let me know. I am aware that this can supposedly be done.
My account is quite old, established in 2005 (although I did not play for very long until mid-2006). The original character created on the account is a now level 60 Night Elf Priest on the Dalvengyr PvP server. There is also a level 62 Blood Elf Paladin on the Exodar PvE server, as well as a level 70 Blood Elf Mage on the Demon Soul PvP server (my current "main" character).
The mage is considerably well-geared as a level 70 character. Current talent spec is 10/48/3 fire. I do not believe in PvP too much, so the character does not have any PvP gear, but is geared well enough to perform easily in T5 content and to a decent level in T6 content. Character has three pieces of tier 4 gear (shoulders, gloves, and legs; the two piece set bonus is quite nice), but also has both the Belt of Blasting (worth 1200-1600g in materials to be crafted) and Boots of Blasting (another 1000-1200g, at least), the latter of which can only be made by the character when it acquires the bind on pickup pattern in either Serpentshrine Cavern or Tempest Keep (T5 raid dungeons) -- both pieces of equipment are about T6 equivalent. The character also has the Blade of Twisted Visions from Zul'Aman, which is easily one of the best mage blades available before the Tempest of Chaos. That said, the character is a 375 Tailor with some epic patterns as well as a 375 Herbalist.
There is currently about 600 available on the character, and epic land mount and normal flying mount are available (with a riding crop on hand). Epic mount is not yet acquired, but the availability of teleports as a mage makes this need a bit less. Character is aligned to the Scryers (currently Revered) and Exalted with the Shattered Sun Offense (albeit no "of the Shattered Sun" title acquired). 52 Badges of Justice currently on the character as of this post. The Frozen Shadoweave Set (worth approximately 2000-2500 gold in materials) is in the bank, and is very useful for a frost-based talent spec until T6 gear is acquired. Various other items and such are in the bank or bags (the character also has two 20-slot bags and two 18-slot bags). The character has keys for all heroic versions of dungeons, although does not have the Arcatraz key yet (this may change should I acquire it soon, currently on the quest line). Do not have The Master Key for Karazhan, although this is not a big deal as attunement is not needed and generally one player in a raid will have the key for people to enter. The character is, again, still fully capable of performing in T6 content.
The Priest character is equipped with gear primarily from the pre-Burning Crusade raid dungeons of Zul'Gurub and AQ20 (an old character which was abandoned before Burning Crusade was released). Obviously not the best gear, but sufficient to help ease leveling from 60-70 (character had some play post-60 and is near level 61 with what is perhaps up to two levels of rested experience). Needs a new talent spec as it had not been changed (is Disc/Holy), but due to not having played the character for some time, it should not cost much. Only a normal riding mount was acquired (gold was a bit hard to come by pre-BC). 305 Tailor and 77 Skinner. Virtually broke money-wise, unforunately.
The Paladin character has some Outland gear and is currently under a Protection talent spec (to clear the spec would, again, probably not cost anything), although gear does not fit too well. 107 Miner and 119 Jewelcrafter. Should also have a couple levels of rested experience. Does not have much money either, and has a normal mount but only part of the items needed for the Paladin epic mount quest. Has the same character name as the mage character although it was created before the mage (couldn't think of anything else). Mostly a character in a position to be leveled to 70 for end game or what have you.
Hope to hear from someone who might be interested. If you leave an AIM address I can contact you, or you can message me at "weird fishee". I am shooting for perhaps $350 to $400 for the mage/all of the characters if only because of my time investment into them when I played each one.
If you would like me to try to obtain anything on a certain character to make it more worthwhile, I can try to do so as the account is still playable until later this month.
