lilbanks915 sold druid that is now recalled

Hello,

I purchased a druid from lilbanks915. He did tell me that he was not the original owner, but that the account was sold to him by a reputable mmobay member. The account has now been recalled twice by whom I'm assuming is the original owner of the account.

hello kascada i told him i was not the orignal owner of this account and he said he is going to press charges and i have 24 hours to pay him back the full 100 i dont find it fair how he knew that i was not the original owner and hes threatning me telling me im going to jail

Describe how you were scammed: I purchased this account from lilbanks a few months ago. Now the account has been recalled numerous times to the point that blizzard locked the account requiring photo id to unlock.

Did you do any background searching before the transaction? He had a positive feedback and assured me that he had purchased the account from a reputable dealer here on mmobay before I agreed to the sale.
Have you traded with this person before? No
Approximately how many transactions have you done on MMOBay? 20+ I only currently have a feedback rating of 9, but I purchase items from epicmmo all the time as well as trading/buying accounts.

what was the agreement at the time of purchase? If no agreement was made and you just sold it, than lilbanks915 you are responsible for the account. However if lilbanks915 stated he could or would not be responsible if anything happened to the account and you agreed Deadlysinss, then hes not.

So post the chat logs of the sale and what agreement was made.

i didnt recall the account the original owner of who i bought it from recovered the account i sold it because i didnt like the way a druid played and you were aware that i was not the original owner and youwent and still took it anyways

Lilbanks, if you spoke via AIM hopefully you saved chat logs, take the entire log and paste it in a quote here (It formats it better), then take several screenshots of the more crucial information (MAKE SURE TO BLOCK OUT ALL PERSONAL INFO AND ALL ACCOUNT INFO), and post them here or PM them to a moderator.

na i dont think me or him saves chat logs i restored my pc a while back so i lost everything

No you did not. You stated that you purchased it from a reputable member and that it was safe 100% just that you didn't have the ID card associated to the account that you had the name and phone number of the original owner just to ensure the security of the account. I do not have any chat logs currently. I suppose I'll just dispute the payment through paypal and leave this portion of it alone. Buyers Beware when dealing with this guy though.

Post the chat please because your saying I said things I never said no need to put words in my mouth I'm going to call paypal now to let them know and don't message me telling me I stole this account because I have proof it was bought I understand ur upset if the original owner I bought it from pays me back I'll give u the money with no problem

I just contacted paypal and they said that you can't get the money back because it's been more than 45days an they don't cover virtual accounts I couldn't not get my money back either from the original owner I'm sorry this happened but like I told u I'm not the original owner and don't tell me I stole the account because paypal has the recept for when I purchased it which they already looked at if I can get the money back from where I bought it I will pay u back thanks

lilbanks915 you acknowledged that the OO recalled the account. You provided no proof that you made an agreement which Deadlysinss that relieves you of all responsibilities if anything were to happen to the account. Since there was not warrany agreement, you are responsible for the account.

You must either contact the OO and get the account back or willing refund Deadlysinss. If not you will be banned.

Thats correct so if you want to open a scam thread against them then feel free to do so. You are still however required to provide compensation for the account even if the oo refuses to compensate you, it's not contentious on his cooperation.
