Just got scammed 55€ by (legit)member from this site.

Buying a CS:GO item for €55,- with paypal.

Provide information about the dispute and what lead to it:
He added me on skype, since I asked for it in his thread. A day later I noticed he added me, and I talked to him. Eventually he wanted 55$ for his knife (what is 55% market value so extreme good deal)
To MAKE SURE he's no imposter, I asked him to reply on the thread again. He couldn't reply again, since he already did, so update his latest post.

So, since I was/am certain it's the person he pretends to be, and with 16 feedback 100%, and with an 'epic member' rank, I thought nothing could happen to me.
Well ******* great. He deleted me as soon as I send the money.

Here u can see how he, 'went for a pee' after he noticed the money arrived his account. And a minute later pop's offline and deleted me.

Typical scammer, I bet nearly all his feedback is fake, like 80% is from people with (0) feedback themself.
He acted alreay strange by starting off the conversation like; 'Have you seen my account? Have you seen my feedback? I'm legit member'...
Also the price was low, he said he needed the money etc, had no problem selling it for €55,-

The Skype is a match, but the Paypal email address is not the email I have on file for eztmegnem.

I checked his IPs and there is no sign his account was accessed by anyone else.

Waiting for eztmegnem to reply. A warning has been added to his account.

i have spoke with him before in skype and i felt his a scammer to i stopped and removed him.
sad i was right and one got hurt by his actions.
ask paypal for dispute m8 and give them all info from skype,epic npc
u will get ur money back

I'm not sure if virtual skins get refunded by Paypal? (from what i've heared from others). So a dispute is useless? Or perhaps if I lie to Paypal and pretend I bought for €55,- some, second hand iphone or something?
Anyone good advice? No idea if Paypal dispute will work.. with virtual goods.

Paypal won't dispute since it is digital goods. So I dont belive paypal will help you. You can always try but dont be disapointed if they refuse to help

This might sound scam myself, but I really want to try to get my money back; did anyone ever faked disputed at paypal? As in, what i mentioned above, pretending I tried to buy an object (lets call it a iphone 4s),
for €55,-, but I never received my goods? (So lie about that I attempted to buy digital goods.)?

Paypl has updated its rules on digital items since they split with ebay, its a supported transaction now.

Well, I've been stupid enough to transfer the money as a gift..
He told me that he will receive the full amount, without paying fee's this way, and that was the reason for it.
I can not even fill in a dispute on Paypal, cause the transaction has been send as a gift.. So I guess I just have to face that I lost my money..

Paypal is updating their policy to include virtual items, but it does not go into effect until July 1st. You can open a dispute for 180 days after payment, so you can just wait until July 1st to file a dispute.

Did you actually try to file a dispute on the gift payment? I believe you can.


eztmegnem was online yesterday and didn't reply. He's been email notified. Ban in 24 hrs if there's no reply.

Yes, I have tried to dispute on my transaction but it gives me an error right away;

Basically; "The transaction can not be challenged since it does not concern the purchase of goods or services. Get in touch directly with the recipient."

So what can I do best in my situation? Wait till July 1st or wait 180 days from July 1st and try to open a dispute? (If it's even possible of personal gift/good)

eztmegnem has been banned. Yes, wait until July 1st then contact Paypal account, probably better by phone, and see if you can dispute it then. Good luck.
