The six basic things any of you should have is the username, password, email, and sqa, and last name of an account. The sixth is a set of new cd keys to transfer the account to. If you dont have this, you run a higher risk of a recall. So when trading or buying have a set ready to transfer. Sure it cost another $40 but hell its worth it if you are already spending $200+ on something.
BTW, I ve noticed that Blizz is not only asking people for names and sqa and username, but for other information such as CD Keys, addresses and what not. Its a good idea to update the account, if the person you bought it off can provide you with cd keys or the address on the account, even better. If not xfer the toon to a new acct. and save all the information because you may need it one day.
Why am I writing this redundant [censored]? Because when I first started out, I thought all you needed was the username sqa email and last name. Guess what? That is not necessarily enough to retrieve an account. You may get some jack [censored] at Blizzard that asks you for more information, and while you may think you can just call again and ask for someone else; they log your convos, the more you call about a specific account, the more suspicious they get. I was just scammed out of 3 accounts, I was able to retrieve 2, the last one, was an old account of mine I recently traded, back then I never kept any info such as cd keys, time cards, on it, never updated the address, didnt xfer it to another acct so its gone for good.
So, the less information you have when you trade, the higher the risk of having it compromised. Just keep that in mind as you trade accounts here. I know temptation has a way of manipulating all of us, but if the person you are trading with does not have all the info on the account, or no rep, may be its best to move on.
