It should be required that sellers list an asking price in their original post.
Hi there, I'm relatively new to EpicNPC but not new to the e-trading game. I've noticed that many sellers do not list an asking price, meaning they are waiting for offers from potential buyers. To me, this more often than not, becomes a huge waste of everyone's time because the buyer ends up lowballing the seller, the seller gets offended, etc.
Not only is it common business practice to list a price for what you're selling (i.e. you don't ever go into a store and have to make offers on items, the items already have pricetags on them.) And depending on the type of store (whether it's a commercial store or a private owned Mom and Pop store) you can then decide whether it's appropriate to barter on the item.
But all in all, I do think for the efficiency of buying/selling items here on EpicNPC, it would be a huge step forward to make it mandatory for sellers to list an asking price in their "for sale" threads.
Thanks for your time and consideration!
