Just wondering.

even if you follow the safety guidelines, is there a chance to get scammed anyway?

Or am I overlooking the correct approach?

What do you guys think is the safest method for trading?

There is always a risk. but taking simple precautions and common sense minimize that risk

You're trading information when you trade or sell an account. The owner of the account will always have that information, so there is always a risk they can recover the account. This is why it's so important to deal with people you can trust, members who have Verified their account and have good feedback.

If you wanna buy something cheap - you normally get it from people with 0 feedback and you receive a chance of being scammed with the account you buy.
If you wanna pay more and be safe, and be sure that you will be given another account/refund in case anything goes wrong - you gotta buy from verified sellers with at least 15 feedback IMO.

Bottom line: Trade only with people who have positive feedback (More the better).

The OO can always recall the account back and thus the "trust" factor.
