is this warning normal ? i think im free to reduce the price of the item after few days - weeks if i didn't get a customer and show the old price

That’s normal, since your thread never listed the price as $1000. It’s just like when someone makes a thread showing $9999 and then writes $90 as the new price. Mods also check the edit history date of your thread.
