Is changing the name on a warcraft account realy this easy?

Yes, I did this several years ago when I sold my wow account for 1600.00 to a friend in the military. We provided all our info, and completely switched over the account to his name.

Depends on representative who answers you. Sometimes they say its not allowed, but a lot of people do it. Altho, Blizz can still track name of first owner who used it before it was namechanged. It doesn't give any special security at all, but alas

No, its a bit harder than that.

There are some reasons they change them that way, but not just because you want to.

I know the ins and outs of name changes.
