I posted saying that I had "Added you."


On skype, not once did I say I was selling to him.
I inquired about if my key was stress or full beta key.
He showed me what the emails look like for the real keys.
I thanked him, said I'd be in touch if I got one.

Not once did I state in any form that I was selling to him.

Hence, making this fraction invalid and abuse.
No rule was broken, I am fully allowed to post and inquire about these things so I can find out for myself.

My case is simple. I don't deserve this infraction. If you can provide solid evidence that I did in fact try to sell you a key, then sure.. I deserve the infraction.
But we both know that I did not under any circumstances say I was selling you a key.

I expect this to be dealt with and removed. I feel that this is highly unfair and I have been a long time member of EpicNPC without issues till now.

The thread was labeled WTB (Want to Buy) so it does not matter why you posted. If you post in a WTB thread we will assume you're trying to sell something. Because you have not upgraded your account to Epic Member or higher you are not allowed to sell beta keys or accounts on this forum.

The infraction is justified and will not be removed. As with all infractions it will expire in 30 days. If you want to sell beta keys here, please upgrade to Epic Member ($3)

People post in threads all the time. I inquired about it.
There is no proof showing I attempted to sell.
Ask the mod yourself. The skype chat clearly shows at no point did I try to sell.
I wanted to know if mine was a stress or beta cause I've had it sitting in inbox for over a month.

I did not try to sell the key. This is complete BS.
Why would I now pay to become a member when I get this kind of BS treatment when I didn't break any rules whatsoever.

I posted to inquire, I was hoping I was getting the free upgrade so if I did in fact have a beta key I would be able to sell it, I ended up only having 3 rep at the time so I couldn't.
If I had a real key I would've paid to become a member/verified to be able to sell it.
I know the rules, been here for years.

This infraction is out of line. I have all the proof that BACKS ME UP.

You literally just sated the reason for my infraction was for posting in a WTB beta key thread.
Posting in these threads in itself is NOT infractionable for not being a member/verified. "wWe will assume...."
You just backed up my case further, with your own reasoning.
You can assume all your want, but the mod who gave me the infraction is the same I talked to. And he only gave it after our conversation was over, which CLEARLY shows me inquiring about the key. I did not try to sell him one. This dispute will continue to go on until I get the acknowledgement that this deserves.

Again, you're assuming.
And my case is that the SAME Moderator that GAVE ME the infraction, was the one I was TALKING to.
Who can CLEARLY see that I at NO point tried to sell him anything.

You're only point is that by posting in the thread it instantly means I'm trying to buy/sell.
That's saying if I went and posted in one of these threads saying something, relevant, but not clearly stating I'm buying/selling = infraction.
Which in itself is a joke. And your reasoning further backs up my case. Pretty sad.
If infraction sticks, even though there is nothing to support that this infraction was justified, I simply will never pay for anything on this site.
Not worth it seeing as you can get an infraction, for in your own words, posting in a WTB thread that requires you to be a member/verified to ACTUALLY SELL OR BUY.. but by posting in the thread = you are in fact doing such a thing and in so doing get the infraction. EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NOTHING TO SHOW I ACTUALLY TRIED TO BUY OR SELL.

ALL I DID... was add this guy so I could find out if my key was a beta key. This is NOT against the rules.

If I was, I would've said that in the post or in the skype conversation.
Which I didn't. I'm not gonna become a member if my key is a stress key, because there would be no use for me to.

I'd like to speak with someone else. You clearly don't have a clue what you're talking about.
And I mean this with no disrespect, you simply keep giving the same unjustified reason that is an assumption and in no way shows me breaking any such rules that would result in said infraction.

I believe lordangelo can also confirm that is in fact the exact chat log of our conversation.
I inquired about the beta key. I don't even have one, which further backs up I wasn't selling him anything without being unverified or a member.
I wanted to see if mine was, if it was I would've simply donated for the membership and worked out a trade with the man.

Everything I have said, showed, explained completely backs up me and that his infraction was unjustified.

All you have done is said by posting we assume you are. Yes, sure.. You can assume it. Doesn't mean you can send out infractions for it.
Especially when by providing all this proof and explanation it CLEARLY shows I was in fact NOT trying to sell him one.
That would complete annul your reasoning.

If I get one, and he's still buying, I can become a member and then sell him the key.

I have provided all the evidence that is to do with this and it all CLEARLY shows that I am in the right. And this infraction was in the wrong.. unjustified.
And once again, to further back up that your reasoning is compeltely invalid. You clearly say "You post in a WTB thread, we will ALWAYS assume you are selling."
That would incline that if I were to post in a WTB or WTS thread for beta keys simply VOUCHING for this trader, that I would in fact be infractioned because you would assume I was selling or buying such a key.

Come on.. You're on admin. You can do better than that.

Then change the description of the rule. Make it, IF YOU POST IN WTB/WTS of a BETA KEY and are not a member/verified you will be infracted.
You can't just "assume" and infract people when there are people such as myself. that didn't even break the rule.

Change the rule to make it fit the reasoning of the infraction.
Otherwise you're just abusing it. I couldn't care less if the admin is saying differently, in legal binding terms, of what I have agreed to, I did not break any of these terms.

Think of it this way. It wouldn't hold up in court to say "well I assumed he was going to....". When all proof shows differently.

And I understand that you couldn't tell if it was me or not, I was on my personal skype not epicnpc skype.
But still, simply posting saying I added you isn't an infraction.
Please justify that to me, in a legitimate way, that it was acceptable.

Yes I am. We will NOT investigate what the reason is that someone posted in a WTB thread. We will ALWAYS assume you are selling, always.

You do realize this is a free forum with volunteer staff so asking staff to investigate every member that posts in a WTB thread to make sure they are not selling when they are not allowed to is a massive amount of work. No site, even paid, would ever consider doing something like that.

If you post in a WTB thread asking for the person to contact you, you are selling. Period. I don't care if you are trying to contact them for another reason.
