Inbox Quick Chat update

To help members communicate with each other faster, we've updated the inbox drop down menu to include some new features.

1. Expanded size - members can now expand the box in width to increase it's size.
2. Read chats - members can now open a recent chat on their list to read the latest new messages without have to fully open the chat window
3. Quick Replies - members can now reply to their recent chats directly from the menu. Tool bar is not available and images can't be uploaded in this quick reply box.

The chat is not update in real time, it's not an instant chat, so you will have to refresh the page to see new messages and alerts. However this should allow members to view and reply to new message much faster while browsing around on the site.

I'm unable to replicate.

Can you post a screenshot of the following 2 items.

Right click your browser and select Inspect.
Go to the "Console" tab and load the inbox.
Then click the "Network tab" and post a screenshot of that also.

it seems since this new update, the chat now frequently have delay or hard time to send messages

We're having a issue that is causing slowness today that started last night. We're still investigating the cause and will hopefully have it resolved soon.

Not sure if you've disabled it but I am having to go into my actual inbox for messages every time like before. Also not getting a menu.

Its working fine for me. Can you try clearing your browser's cache?
