So I recently sold a wow account (I'm not the original owner) to someone back in September of 2016. We agreed upon 2200$, but he couldn't pay it all at once so I did a split payment method with him. He paid 750$ as the 1st payment right away. Then in December he paid another 800$. So 1550$ was paid so far, 650 roughly remained. Me and the guy were on talking terms on skype 1-2x a week asking him how life was and keeping up to date on small things. He went mia in skype since January, haven't heard from him in over 2months. I gave him access to the wow account, he wasn't able to change the email or anything like that until he fully paid it off. So since I have no other way of reaching out to him I took back control of the account and added a phone authenticator. It's been about a week and he still hasn't responded or logged on skype even though he recently renewed the time on the account. What should I do from this point on since he still owes me money for the account.

That's a difficult situation.

If he doesn't contact you in another week or so, then you have two options.

1) Refund the payment, minus 20%. You keep 20% for the time he had the account and you can then resell the account.
2) Hold the account indefinitely until he contacts you. When he pays the remaining balance, you give him the account back.

He still paid you money, so you can't keep the account and money. If he's banned for scamming, it's possible he resold the account to someone and you then recalled it from the new buyer.

How were the 2 payments made? Paypal? The same email was used both times?

What's his username?

https://www.epicnpc.com/members/545200-apparelous I think this is his account? Not sure.

But we agreed upon 2200$, so unless he pays me the full payment I'm going to be holding the account under my control. If he doesn't respond within a month what should I do with the account?

Yes, that's his account and he's banned.

The account can't be resold unless you plan to refund him. Again, you can take a 20% cut for the time he had the account, but you can't keep all the money. Even if he doesn't contact you in the next few weeks, it will become a big problem if you resell it and try to keep the money.

My suggestions is wait another week, then if he still doesn't contact you, post the account for sale. Once you sell it, issue a refund for the other payment.

This way everything's clean and if he ever comes back claiming you stole the account from him, you can just show you refunded him and you won't risk being banned.

I'm not sure how someone that paid $1550 for an account isn't contacting you, $1550 is a lot of money.

Yea that's why I am confused, regardless if he scammed he paid me 2/3 for the account and seemed like an okay guy. I'll just wait it out and play it out. I am just hoping nothing serious happened to him, last I talked to him he said he ended up in the hospital from drinking too much alcohol. But he said he would have my payment by mid February. But yea I don't plan on selling the account until enough time has passed where it's in the clear. And then I will sell the account again and issue him his money back that he paid me.
