Imposters on other trading forums?

I received an email saying "Your account has been created successfully at TGS.net Buy WoW accounts Aion FFXI Darkfall Warcraft Sell and trade gold."

I did no such thing.

I checked out the site and saw that "that" account was verified. I may just be paranoid, but I am feeling a bit uneasy about my accounts and what not.

Is there anything to do to ensure my security so **** doesn't hit the fan?

Tell them its not you, that's the best thing I can think of, email the admins on that board.

It's very disappointing that members are trying to create their owns forums now which will never work anyway and only splinter the community even more.

People have tried for years, I don't see any of these new forums that are popping up staying active (in any sense of the word) for more than a month, max.

I spoke with chadwick he said they are importing feedback, and that it create accounts for the TW user. If you want it removed you'd have to take up to him.

Yes, that is correct. We set up the API from Trust Who, and if someone that you have left feedback for requests their feedback to be imported, it will create an account on that particular Trust Who Verified Email.

You can simply request for your account to be deleted if you wish, Chad doesn't allow for us to link our forums other places, as he says that's "tacky". Whatever that means, I see people do it all the time.

You can just contact live chat via TheGameSupply.net to have that removed. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience in this matter.

Also, according to Alexa and Compete, our boards are just behind mmobay's in traffic, and only been up for less than a month. Oh, and we don't have the usual suspects here. Think we are pretty happy with the current scenario thanks.

This isn't Markee, Markee is gone. The King is dead so to speak. What you guys don't realize is that by taking the old forums and putting all the links to the mmobay.net auction site the guy who bought MD effectively killed MD traffic, and boosted up Mmobay.net auction site.

So all of you that think he has your best interests at heart and the forums will miraculously bounce back.....well, Im sure you'll see what happens to this post momentarily.

Explains why they are so dead, lol. Not only that but I can only imagine most of your traffic comes from the fact that you spam people on aim and ****.

Ah, this explains quite a lot.

As for the new forums, meh, Markee was always the cornerstone for trading accounts...the sudden move has really shaken things up....

yeah im not sure how many aims i have blocked from the unwanted spams i have gotten, and i am not just talking about tgs here.

no one wants a wall of spams for some link with nothing else being said about it

I have yet to receive any spam from any forums, only "spam" I may have gotten is the TGS contest for a toon.

ok, before i piss someone off, i want to make sure it is understand that i am not targeting or meaning that they (tgs) is mass spamming anyone, i guess i should have clarified that part. the mass wall of links was from someone else entirely.
