Hi dear buyers/sellers, it has come to my attention that someone is impersonating me on Discord trying to scam people into selling accounts to him. I have already reported this Discord's support, meanwhile do be very careful if someone claimed to be me coming to you for a deal. He is making used of my high rating on Epicnpc trying to convince you to send him the account first. Please DO NOT do so. Take note that I will never ask a seller to send me his account without paying or going through MM.

My Discord ID is Guardian1969#8944 while the one the scammer is using is Guardian1969#4609 (see attached)., please note.

I have attached 2 screenshots here; one being the scammer fake Discord ID, the other one shows his conversation with a seller here asking him to send him the account first.

I still don't know why moderators can't pin single post how to protect yourself from scammers. Every day I hear someone is impersonating respectful members of this forum. Every day someone is scammed. New members don't have idea how this forum works and how many people will come to them for easy money.

The mod moved this thread from the Raid Shadow Legends forum to this forum. I wonder who will see this. It's really defeating the purpose since all my posts are listed on the RSL forum and the purpose of putting there is to alert people to be careful when they deal with the fake 'me'.

I was thinking the same. There is no reason to move it here. From my experience I can say that noone will ever come here and check anything. It supposed to be targeted to people most vulnerable and new members and they will never visit this part of forum.

This post is moved because RSL forum is reserved for the trade only. Imagine that every one of us opens the same how these forums would look like. The best way to warn people is to add the signature in your profile so everyone who opens your profile can see it.

The problem is people will be scammed if they believe the impersonator is me when he adds them in Discord. There is no chance for the other party to even see my signature. If someone see my posts and add me of course there will be no problem but now the problem is the other way round. They are approached by the fake 'me'.

Anyway as i said, the post was meant for good intention to warn people against fake 'me'. I gain nothing but make people to be more caution when deal with me. In fact i am doing myself a disfavour. If you don't see the point then let's be it.

They will see if they want to see it. The best way to protect themselves is to do research before the next step. Sadly many of them will not do this not mather how many posts you open here. As I previously stated 50% reputable sellers have someone who impersonated them so imagine that each of them opens for only one warning thread and post in each forum. Even if they do that with the best intention this would push the trade on the second plan and this is not how this website works.

What most of the impersonators do when try to scam is they usually show to the victim their"profile" on the website. All that the victim need is to open this profile and read the warning but if they are too lazy to do it then they will be definitely lazy to search for your another post and read about scammers.

Yes more people should read this post. I posted it on RSL forum where most people get scammed there but was moved here. SetsunaEpic posted exactly the same post on someone imposing him and that post stayed on RSL forum for weeks nobody did anything LOL.

There has been increasing cases of scam by the imposer. Many users have been victimised. Please exercise extra cautions when trade online and always ask the other party to PM you on EpicNPC so as to confirm his identity.
