Other information: The scammer's Discord has the same name and profile picture as those of a user on epicnpc, but this does not necessarily mean that this user is the scammer. They may or may not be the same person. I had to tag this user here as part of the coded requirement for this dispute thread creation. However, I've talked to the user on epicnpc, and he claimed that he's a different person as he has a different Discord ID (same Discord name but different number combination after the hashtag). I've included more information about the case in the section below.

What is the dispute about?
I was scammed by a scammer who uses a Discord username Meysa#9406. Unfortunately, this is all the contact information I have on the scammer.
I recently posted a buying listing for Genshin Impact account here***: https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/asi...-same-account-ar-5-20-starting-at-15.1756766/ . The scammer saw my thread and contacted me directly via Discord without replying to my thread or pming me here. We discussed the deal on Discord and I sent my payment to him via PayPal. As of this writing, it has been a few days since then and I still haven't received the account or a refund. The seller went uncontactable ever since he got my money.
I'm not sure if the scammer is the same person as this epicnpc user: https://www.epicnpc.com/members/meysa.1155060/ . I have contacted this user via this website's pm as his name and profile picture match those of the scammer's on Discord. This user claimed that he and the scammer are different people because his actual Discord username is Meysa#8000 and not Meysa#9406. Therefore, it might either be that they are the same person (if the user lied to me) or that they are completely different people (if the user was telling the truth, and the scammer stole this user's identity to make a deal with me on Discord). If possible, please investigate on this first before taking any action on this user. This user could be innocent and the scammer might've been just a random visitor to this website without a user account. In such case, please feel free to move this thread to "Off-site Scammers" section. I sent a ticket to epicnpc support earlier regarding this scam, and the support staff instructed me to make this thread here.

***IMPORTANT: Regarding my buying thread, please note that an honest seller (https://www.epicnpc.com/members/kelpincoy.1170724/) eventually contacted me some time afterwards and I managed to buy an account from him successfully. That is the reason why I've marked my thread as "bought". This seller who replied on my thread and whom I've given positive feedback to is NOT a scammer! He has nothing to do with the scamming that I've experienced at all. Please DO NOT involve him in this case.
