Ok, so. I have come up with a plan that makes Paypal a usable way to sell World of Warcraft accounts, and prevents the buyer from doing a charge back. Paypal has a seller protection program, and as most of you know, it does not cover virtual items, this I know. BUT there is a way to make it so that your sale IS covered by the protection program. My method is this this, when the person asks you to use Paypal you tell them yes, but they have to do it on your terms. Then i send them this, it contains all the information they need to purchase the account from you:
In order to do this using Paypal you are going to need to follow these instructions. In the description of what the payment is for you must put "payment for package containing informative documents" you will also need to list your shipping address for me to ship the item to you. The address must match the address listed on all things linked to the Paypal account you will be using to make this purchase. Once I have received the payment I will ship you a parcel containing all the account information at the next available time.
Now, once they have made the payment to you, you must check the shipping address, and see that it matches the address for the Paypal account. You must also note that in the payment they put "payment for package containing informative documents".
See the trick here is that you are taking your "Virtual item" and putting into a tangible form. Now that it is a shipped package it can be tracked by Paypal and is now covered under their Seller Protection Program.
Only rules to this are, they MUST put the description of the item into the payment, AND they MUST BE LOCATED in the US, UK, or CANADA. I know this means no china, but this is just for using Paypal. You may also not use more than $5,000 in coverage per year. Also you must be using a Verified primum account or a Verified buissness account.
I felt this was some good information to share and hope it serves you all well. GOOD LUCK, and be careful.
