I have a question about selling an account

I am trying to sell an account and I was asked to give the info to this repped member for them to log in and check it out before purchasing it. I was wondering if this is a common thing that can generally be trusted of people with repped statuses on these forums?

Depends on the person's rep but It happens quite often. If you just give someone the username/pass they can't steal your account so there isn't too much to worry about.

Yea, just make your best judgement. Look at the person's iTrader rep/post count/join date. Those are pretty good indications. Also if the 90k gold was to be stolen by someone you can get it back pretty easy by calling blizzard.

Also have the person post in your sell thread, if they just contacted you via IM it could be an impostor pretending to be a repped member.
