I don't like how moderation works in WoW private servers forums

It's 2nd time when I got undeserved infraction and now 2 of my threads deleted.

What happened:
I precisely trying to keep no more than 3 threads on every page. But today some guy bumped 2 of my random threads, so it became like I had 5 threads on first page, however I can't do anything about this, since it's not about me.

Seems like @elkido didn't pay attention to this and simple deleted 2 of my threads and gave me infraction.

I asked him before to provide screenshot of violation if it has place to be, but again, no screenshot, no explanation.

Do you think it's reasonable to pretend of being Mod if you can't simple take screenshot to prove your actions? It's one click and few seconds of time.

I also just got respond from him in PM. He says like it doesn't matter if somebody posts in my threads after me, I have to do something with it.

WHAT?

I bumped 3 threads and went AFK, when i came back i found that mess with deleted threads and random guy writing in my other threads. What a joke.

Of course i paid attention. And i have screen shot. And i'm not gonna provide screen shot to every user that gets infraction. If admins ask i will present it. You are the only guy who have problems with "Random guys". How come you don't see me or beardedman or goldprovider having "random guys" making posts? Because we pay attention. Those are your threads, your responsibility, not mine. My job is to keep the thread clean and i'm doing it as best as i can. Should i let you have them up and be like "Hey it doesnt matter, its a random guy post"? And than what? We will have 5 guys with 5 threads each, and first page is gone. But hey, random guys posted on the threads so its ok? I dont think so.
Ps. When you get threads randomly bumped like this, simply delete or close some of them so you have 3 on the first page like you are allowed. I mean you are here long enough and you don't know the rules. Also i'm not pretending to be anything. I'm just fallowing the rules.

If he already bumped 3 threads and then another member posted in one or more of his threads, which made him have more than 3, an infraction should not be given.

If it was the other way around (someone posted in his threads, then he bumped 3 threads as usual without noticing), an infraction should be given as usual.

I don't sit on forums 24/7. I said you, I bumped 3 of my threads and went AFK, where is my fault? I should refresh page until my threads will go deep down? You are irracional.

You could just delete his posts out of my theads if they were above my own bumps. Don't you feel it's more logical than things you do?

Even if I were guilty I would like to get proof of it, to be sure you are doing your job right and not abusing me, nothing personal, that's simple thing that won't load you at all.

Yeah probably it has to be regulated by rules, but you are wrong for sure.

Easiest way is just delete upper posts if it went out of 3-threads-limit and were made by not owner.

Technically yes, but if it didn't work like that, you could post in someone's thread and make them get an infraction, which is worse.

If someone is repeatedly posting in other people's threads to make them have more than 3, they will eventually be caught and punished.
Same happens if a certain user repeatedly asks others to post in their thread.
The rules are fine.

I wasn't sure how it works, because I don't have any access to this. But it could be solution probably, if bump would gone after deleting last post. Okay, let's wait for Mike, hope i don't lose all my threads before, kinda tired of making them

You are exaggerating.
That rule has been there for a long time and there weren't many issues like that in the past.
I don't remember anyone actively abusing that. It rarely happens.

If someone does, they will be punished. That's why we have local mods.

As i know, if seller has more than 3 threads on the first page, even if other members bumped it you have to get infraction for that. That's why it's risky.
It's better to make 1 main store thread with all your accounts and you can also have 2 individual threads with accounts, which are not mentioned in your store thread.

No way man. I don't know about other forums, but it's pretty big competition in forum I mentioned. You have to keep 3 thread on main page all the time or you will be washed away in 20 minutes and nobody will ever find your stuff. All top sellers over there have a bunch of threads, I don't know if it's only me who experiencing this problem or others just don't care.

I just want to say it seems easy to abuse rules when you are Mod. You can simple refresh page all the time and hammer down seller instantly for any "violation" if seller went to pee or make food and another user decided to ask something directly in any other of his threads. Can't say it's the best way to match with flood.

Hope you can see it from my point.

IF stree bumps 3 threads, its not his fault another seller/buyer bumped his. Our rules do not punish the OP if someone bumps it. Now if its the same person bumping all another users threads or every time to by pass three thread rules. then we take action.

The integrity is correct, Elkido do not give an infraction if a buyer or seller bumps another sellers threads to over 3. If you feel someone is abusing the system by having someone else bump his threads, please report it to an smod or admin to check.

Stree DO NOT demand screenshots, you do not get preferential treatment over others nor are any of our staff giving you unfair treatment. Moderators are not required to take screenshots. We have logs that show us what happened.

Now you have 3 total infractions including the one I removed. No ones harassing you by enforcing our rules. Closing this.
