So I sold a SWTOR beta account for $200 USD to a TWV user on MMOBay. He went ahead and sold the account to 3 other people and ended up scamming them as well. It ultimately lead back to me and the user recalled the $200 or I should say filed a dispute against that payment saying he never received it.
I talked to a paypal representative and explained the situation and he said the best thing to do would be to escalate the ticket and let paypal review the case. That is exactly what I did and gave as much information as possible and emphasized that it was a virtual good.
My question is, is there anything else I can do to assure my money stays put? I can't pay off $200 if this money gets overturned back into his account...
What is the best way to guarantee I will walk out with the money still in my hands?
**side note, this transaction was done 2-3 wks ago and he just opened a dispute.
