How to Sell Second Life Accounts Safely

The following guide will explain how to sell your Second Life account safely.

Unlike in-game items, the ToS for Second Life does not allow for the sale of accounts, so you have to be more careful.

DO NOT DO THE FOLLOWING

• Meet in-game to discuss the account sale in chat (you risk getting banned)
• Do not pay using Lindens
  • If you send someone a large sum of Lindens and they give you nothing in return, this could trigger an investigation causing one or both accounts to be banned.

How to Sell Safely

• Discuss the sale on Epicnpc or in a chat out of the game
• Payment should be sent out of game. Paypal, bitcoin, Skrill, etc.

• Post accounts name in public on EpicNPC ( if you are selling Legacy account you can post first or last name )
• Post email address associated with your account
• Do not buy or sell accounts with payment info on file. - Adding a new payment from a different person can easily be detected by the security system and result with an account ban [in case you decide to buy then do not add new payment info]
• Discuss in-game about buying and selling SL accounts ( in case that you are buyer or seller ) - Linden Lab is able to check all IM or local logs.
• FOR RESELLERS - if you buying an account with a plan to resell then please login with VPN and use viewers with spoof abilities. [ too many accounts related to your IP/hardware info will raise the risk to be completely banned ]
