Well, since I been scammed/screwed by Mods in the past, High Rep Members and also the new people. I totally quit selling/buying.
So, I will let you know how to "Be safe"
1. Google.com aim names, search for fishy stuff about the person and question them about it.
2. Rep honestly means nothing, you might have a "better chance" of not getting scammed, but all rep does is allow that person to scam and have a better chance of getting out. I can name a few people on this website who should have been banned because they do not take actions which they should have when they screwed people out of money and blamed it on someone else.
3. Talk to the person, phone/vent/aim talk to him for a long time, ask questions if he says "I raided BT on this char" ask him how to do some fights, if he lies, he is a con and you shouldn't deal with him, most of the account sellers on this website know crap about wow and are just people who try to make more money because their jobs suck, and it is mostly those pricks who get the good rep and screw you out of 800$ when you trust them!
4. Verified Paypal Account, CHECK TWV, there are a few people here who became a business and use different paypals now when dealing, don't deal with them..
5. Age of paypal account, if you are sketched out about a deal ask how long his paypal account been open, there are so many loop wholes in paypal that someone can steal 10,000$ a month and get away with it.
6. Ask people you trust if this guy is a trust worthy person, ask me if you want. I will only say 3-5 people on this forum are trustworthy.
7. Check Ingame.
Here are some of the "easy ways" to protect your self.
Oh and the final thing? Do not buy and sell, or sell to real life friends, because it is safer and if you get screwed you can hurt them!
