How to safely ban an account that I've just transferred a character off of?

I've recently purchased a rather expensive character and now that the payment had gone through to the seller (i.e., deposited into his bank account). Although I trust the seller, I was thinking of securing my characters since the account has had a history of transactions (albeit with rather high rated sellers).

I was wondering if I can get the account banned to improve my security from future recalls. However I'm not sure whether Blizzard will ban the account that I transfer the character off to (i.e., the destination account) as well.

Here's some info:
The subscription CC on both accounts are not the same.
The First & Last Names on the accounts are the same (Obviously).
The CC used to transfer the character off one account to the new account, however, is the same.

I've heard stories of both sides... one side, banning the original account will get the character's transfer reversed, and another side where the transfer does not get reversed.

My best suggestion is to wait a month or two before getting the account banned, rather than doing it days or weeks after the transfer.

Whenever I buy an account I always perma ban the account it came from with a speed hack. Usually takes two abuses or 3 days total to perma ban the account. Before I do this I move the character to a new account. I have done this 5+ times never with any troubles. I do it from the same PC and IP address and never a problem.
