Black Desert Online sandbox-oriented fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Korean video game developer Pearl Abyss.
The combat in Black Desert Online is an action-based game with free movement similar to those found in third-person shooters. The game also offers housing, fishing, farming, and trading, including a large number of events, and guild battles. From 2015 when the game was officially released it becomes one of the most popular MMORPGs including later released mobile version Black Desert Online and also console version for Xbox and PS4/5.
In this guide we'll look at the WEB version of the game including a SEA server which is most popular after a regular server.

For sellers:
Make sure that you can provide a current email linked with the account. An official version will not let you change email instantly, instead, you will have to set up a new email as an alternative and in 3 days you will be able to change it to default and then remove a previous email.

1. After you receive details first make sure to secure the email
2. Log in on the official page and click on Account Details [this will lead you to the page with account details where you can see default/ alternative emails and also registration details such as original owner name and date of birth]
3. Make sure that the Alternative Email option is empty and then add your own email
- Click on Add Email button, enter your own email, and a confirmation link will be sent to your new email. Make sure to click on the link to confirm the change
- Change password
4. Click on Link Account option where you will be able to see if an account is linked with alternative methods [Facebook, Google, Twitter etc] - if there is any you can remove it with a single click
5. Next step will guide you to Account Security Center page where you will be able to find a 2FA/OTP option and Black Desert + Link Management tool
- Activate OTP [optional*] - LINK
- Click Black Desert + Link Management log out from all button to remove the account from the mobile device app
6. Go to https://support.pearlabyss.com/MyPage/Home/Index/pc to confirm if there are any tickets, active or closed, to confirm that the account has no ban or recalls history.
A clean ticket history should look like this
Now you have your account secured. For extra safety, you can activate OTP and wait on 3 days to expire so you can set your own email and remove the previous one.
SEA server
1. A seller needs to provide an account and email password + secondary password PIN if there is any
2. After you receive details make sure to secure the email
3. Log in on the official page and click on Account Information [this will lead you to the page with account details where you can see the current email, change password option, and also registration details such as original owner name and date of birth]
- Email is not changeable so you will have to keep a current email permanently
4. Change password - code will be sent to the current email, you will have to use it to be able to change the password
5. Click on Link SNS account option where you will be able to see if an account is Facebook linked. Remove the link if there is any
6. Next step will lead you to Ticket History option where you will be able to confirm if the account has any active or inactive tickets https://sea.pearlabyss.com/Support/Start/Index/PC
7. Security Center - There you will be able to see a few options
- Change password
- Reset Secondary Password - PIN
- PC Registration Setting
- OTP Setting [optional*] - Same as official version
- Black Desert + Manage connection - Click on Logout all button
For extra security, we advise you to activate the OTP option.
Be careful if you are a member of the guild, we advise you to leave the guild a few days before the account is sold. In case a new owner is planning to stay in the guild, you should check with seller if he ever used a voice during the battles, in case he did, you should never use yours as most RMT bans lead from your Guild members, this is the easiest way to find out that account has been sold.
