How long does Verification take?

I have signed up on mmobay and i have already made a purchase

When i signed up they debited $3 from my paypal account to verify me... but my status is unverified and the seller wont sell to me until they have verified me

Can someone tell me how long this takes as i would really like my item

Verification can take up to 24 hrs, but normally much less.

I created the account about 1/2 a day ago.. is there any chance of speeeding up this process?
