I have 90 unique feedback and 95 normal, yet my total completed orders are still stuck at 76, I see this for a long time and I wonder, is this normal? how is it calculated? it may look weird to buyers that the completed orders are less than the feedback.

It's basically:
Total Completed Orders = Total feedback + TG completed transactions

This was at the moment the change was made.
Now, only completed TG transactions increase the count and not regular feedback.
I believe it would be more fair and transparent if that statistic reset to 0 after the last change since it is no longer valid, now you have older members with more feedback who have far more total completed orders than new members even though their TG completion orders are not higher or is far less than indicated. This change blackmails new sellers because let's be honest, TG is not very popular among buyers, so new sellers will struggle reaching the same total completed orders with old members. At the very least, it should be called TG completed orders and not Total completed orders, it's very misleading. In fact the total completed orders stat of each member should be replaced with his/her total TG completion orders if there is a way to count this, that would indeed be fair.
TG should also be forced after this change because if its not, you will have member with 1k feedback and 50 completed orders (very likely scenario), not sure what buyers will think after watching this. It will be weird, that's for sure. You will look like a cheater with fake feedback.

The free version had a slow start, but is now processing a few hundred transactions per month.
The escrow service has been buggy and is not where we want it. Unfortunately we're currently unable to make the changes we want until our partner Trustap makes some updates on their end so currently our hands are tied. We're aware that it's not user friendly and frustrating to use and we do plan to address those issues once we can.
We're only a few months after the update. You can't expect everyone to switch to the new system overnight. However we see good growth with the free version and we plan to make additional updates to the TG system to make it easier for buyers and sellers.
Once the system is processing a few thousands transactions per month, the "total completed orders" will be more accurate and this wont' really be an issue.

What do you mean free version? is there not a middleman fee now?
Well, if there is not a fee anymore then it's not that bad, after all, you get feedback only from those who already have account here and those can do TG as well. Not sure if you can do TG with those who haven't verified their phones yet. With this new system is just pointless to ask for feedback now, you have to verify if they have accounts here and convince them to do TG, from my experience it could work. However, it won't solve the problem of showing the true orders of a seller, as long as it is not forced, sellers will still have tons of orders who are not listed here with people who don't have accounts on the site. If someone is not capable to leave feedback then he is not capable to do TG either.
Yes, the free version has no fee, but also no MM.
The buyer and seller receive helpful instructions during the process. We also conduct automated background checks so there's at least some checks being done and it's a little safer for everyone. The transactions are then recorded to your history page which show some stats and you can also manager feedback from there.
