Long story short, I'm being shipped away in a few months for the military and as such I won't have time to game anymore. I have a battle.net account with a lot of time & money invested in several different games and I'm trying to figure out how to safely and effectively sell an account. The last thing I want to do is get scammed before I head out for good. Any tips would be appreciated thanks.

if your "games" are popular in scam threads.. i mean if your "games" are quite often to become scamming object.
EPIC Middleman is your best bet.
Read ToS by each MM, prepare anything that might be requested by the MM to proceed to the next step. Send them PM in EPIC, so you will get their alternative contacts (usualy Skype) directly from them.
Each MM has their own ToS, price and warranty.

Middleman can't prevent PayPal charge-back. So the best options you got are to either find a highly reputable buyer (verified, at least 15 feedback score) and sell to him or change the payment method to western union etc.
