Help with an impostor?

There is someone on discord claiming to be me and is scamming people left and right.
I do not go by Yunelia on discord and they are using my EpicNPC profile as a reference and is posing as me?

How do I go about handling this?

This user just messaged me out of the blue and I have never talked to them before in my life.

I'm not sure how they even managed to get this discord user's details when I have not messaged them at all prior to... whatever this incident is.
Advice would be appreciated, thank you.

Hey @Yunelia, I would recommend posting warnings on your profile or threads if you haven't already as that can help reduce fraud.

@Disoskdnkdsos, if you want to open a dispute, you can do so here: https://www.epicnpc.com/forums/active-disputes.142/, however please keep in mind that you were most likely contacted by an off site scammer impersonating @Yunelia. Since no confirmation or any kind of communication was made on EpicNPC, there is no way of knowing for sure who you were talking to on Discord.

In the future I would recommend keeping transactions on site so you know exactly who you are dealing with to avoid impersonations, and use our MM service for an extra layer of protection. If you are not sure, it’s better to stick with more well known users.
