HELP: got scammed but i think i'm on the edge of getting my account back!

--Help me please

Hello fellows,
I got scammed by a hacker from this site. i don't have his user name though i'm sure he done this alot. he paid with some company paypal account named "Logico Technology"
that he claimed to be a manager there. Dunno why but i believed him. oh well!...

ok so after the chargeback i lost in the dispute cause the owner of this paypal account (i suspicous him to be involved!) claimed for "Unautorized Payment". no matter what i said paypal [censored] support wouldn't help me.

so now it comes to this that i called blizzard and i have all the details of my account and everything and i reset the password 3 times!. they say that my e-mail is correct and everything. but IM NOT GETTING THE MAILS.

I'm pretty sure that the scammer also change the mail and i confirmed. So how my mail is still the one listed in Blizzard support ? (confused ? i'm also!).

Anyways i think that this fact could help me getting the account back! so before i call blizzard again i must know what exacly to tell them in order to get control of my account again!.

I appriciate the time you took to get that far and read it. Please take the time to help me out also!. And if you once was in this sitsuation -> BETTER.

To test if the email is on your account you need to do a forgot user name retrieval on the warcraft website. You enter your email ID and it mails you all the accounts associated with that email ID.

Blizzard password reset emails sometimes take hours to come when you ask on the phone.

Hey thanks , I've tried what you said and it sure enough didn't work. It says no account is register with that e-mail.
so how does they have my e-mail when i phoned ? and it's not listed within the account. weird!

more suggestion's on the subject ?

You need to call them and ask them to update your email on the account.

There are two ways you can do it.

1) Say your account was hacked or something. May get the account frozen.

2) Say you no longer have access to the email account and need it updated. (This is the better option.)

Get your story straight before calling and don't tell them too much.

YES! i got it back. But as life seems to be harder then life , and i knew it wouldn't be that easy. A new problem araise!

-- Im now getting the mails but when i logged in it says "Account Suspended"! and that i should e-mail to them to get the details for how long and stuff. got few question.

1. Could it got suspended because of me calling them 2 days in a row ?
2. Suspended means that they can decide to ban ?
3. they ask me to write down an Email to them. What should i say to get out clean ?
and last and most important
4. that hacker got my SQA and name. can he take control of my account again ? can he get it banned ? and how i can prevent any of that happening.

Please help on this one. It may become a method for antiscam as i pretty much secceded by far /u/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Samething happened to me, They suspend the account and you'll get an e-mail from them telling you how to get it unblocked.

I'm not getting an email i get this message as i try to log into the account. So that's not helpful.

They said i can e-mail them to checkout why and when they will unsuspend it. but i wanna make sure i'm sending out the perfect mail! ... so please guys help! :[

YAYYYYY I GOT IT BACK! This is a happy ending or what ?!?

anyways i got it back with a subscription credit card that is NOT MINE!!!! what the!?!? now what should i do ? make new account and transfer chars ? or what ? >< please help me i need help fast!

should i immidiately cancle this credit card subsription Recurring ???

Cancel the subscription immediately or the account will be banned when the chargeback comes.

Probably too late actually. You should call blizzard and explain it to them, because its 100% a stolen credit card and blizzard will blame you and ban your account.

Say your account was hacked and now there is someone else's credit card on it, please reverse the subscription.
