Guide to safely purchase World of Warships Accounts

Hey guys,
You may have seen me being really active in the World of Warships EpicNPC Forum, with high chance you tried to buy accounts from me, and been confused sometime.
So I am going to put up a guide so people can know what to look out for when buying new accounts. And how to buy them, feel safe with them, With or Without Middleman.


Guide to BUY ACCOUNTS ~

1) Choose a good account on the forums, look for a good price. Look for accounts where seller hiding their Account names.
Seller will most likely hide many credentials to keep account secret. This is so they do not get banned. Check account, server, etc. If you really like an account, proceed to next step.

2) Check the Account :
Ask the seller to provide extra information, Like maybe different information than what he posted as screenshot. This will indicate if he has the account or not. Still have a good talk with the seller, ask for the account name, and check the account stats if it looks relevant.
Some seller will even agree to let you have a trial, go live on discord, or teamviewer to show you the account. Feel free to check everything. Of course this will only happen if you have good reputation as buyer.

If youre new OR the seller is new, not having any positive reviews or less than 4-5 reviews, Hire a middleman from EpicNPC. This is the best way to see if the seller has the account, and secure the account when you or the seller pays the middleman fees. You can do so by going to the thread and click "Purchase with Middleman"

Watch out for SCAMMERS. Don't go for unusual price tags (like stalingrad for 100$). Don't buy without proper proof if the seller is NEW in Epicnpc. Do not go if the seller does not look friendly, refuses to give you username or show you screenshots without proper reason. JUST USE MIDDLEMAN if the seller has few or no positive reviews or previous transaction. Thats the Safest way.

Try Avoiding Bitcoin payment as it hides seller identity. Use Paypal for Safer transaction. But at the bright side, if the seller is Legit, please do RESPECT SELLER IDENTITY.

3) TRANSFER ACCOUNT :
Once you verified everything and paid the seller, its time to get the account. There are many ways to secure the account.

• Many seller will directly give you the access to their Email account (which may be google account / yahoo or anything) Check the email with the wargaming email and bind that account with your phone number, change passwords and security questions of that email account.
• Some seller may not want to give you their email access. However, he should be able to transfer the Wargaming account to Your personal email address. Check if the username is correct and send the confirmation link to the seller and wait until he says Email change is complete.
• Otherwise, Seller must let you add your phone number to his wargaming account. This is also fine, you will be able to change the email address to your email address, even if the seller is absent. This process takes 14 - 30 days. But seller wont be able to change password, email or anything without confirmation code from your phone.

4) SECURE ACCOUNT :
We are not done securing the account. Few steps has to be followed to avoid risks of getting banned.

• Once you logged in to the account, play on that computer for a while, avoid changing IP addresses often for atleast first week.
• Once the account is transfered to you, Buy 2500 Doubloons (and keep the recipt for future customer service proof if needed), and change your username. So that friends of that old account do not recognizes you.
• (Optional) Ask the seller for any previous payment details of that account. Its good to keep evidence to show that youre the real owner of the account.
• Change region if you want. Go to Customer support and tell them that you have moved to another country, and you would like to see different currency on store.
• Bind your phone number with WG account.

5) Appreciate each other.
Give the seller a 5 star rating so he will be happy, and be motivated to sell more accounts in the future. (If you used middleman, both buyer and seller will get auto feedback)

*A clarification: Don't go for unusual price tags (like stalingrad for 100$).
Do your own research on what a price should be at minimum, as stalingrad costs steel and grinding the amount of steel to buy stalingrad would usually cost you lot of time and steel. Accounts with Premium ships of tier X would be a lot more than 100 USD, not less.
