got scammed (unauthorized transaction - the solution?!)

Hey,

I bought something and the seller told me to pay via family & friends as he "has to wait for ages" when paying te normal way. I believed that as PP held my money back a few times in the past, too. After paying I didn't get anything at all, though, and it looks like he has scammed others, too.

What to do now? I know paying with family/friends was very stupid and not normal for a non-virtual item. Is there a way to get my money back by claiming an unauthorized transaction?

You can try, but it will most likely fail, since they will not find any unusual activity on your account.

If it's not a small amount and you paid with a credit card, you can do a chargeback.

Just try to dispute as unauthorized and hope that the seller doesn't notice the dispute. GL.

and you can report the scammer at the active dispute section.
