Please note Trust Who verification is not integrated at all with these forums. That will be added back in the near future.

Fixes/Updates

- Censor filter has been updated
- Advanced post editor has been turned on
- Sidebar now displays on all pages
- Max Signature characters have been changed to 1000 chars, 500 not including BB coding. Up to 5 lines.
- Captcha has been removed for Search for registered members
- Min char limit for posts has been decreased to 5
- Permissions for TWV and Professional Sellers should now be working correctly.
- quick reply box automatically opened
- PM limit raised to 1000 and enabled for all members
- Edit feature for posts has been removed for all members
- Maximum Characters Per Post raised to 40k
- HTML enabled for mods and up
- link color updated
- 1 feedback per 24 hrs is limited to users with less then 5 positive feedbacks. This is to prevent scammers from creating new accounts and adding feedbacks quickly. After 5 there is no limit.
- Sidebar has been changed so you cannot hide it
- Everyone can view the TWV forums, however only TWV users can post or reply in them.
- Users can now upload custom avatars
- Users can now edit posts in the non buying/selling/trading forums
- Only TrustWho Verified members can now see inside the TWV forums
- Max font size in signatures changed to 4.
- Post Image limit raised to 30
- Sig image limit raided to 5 for TWV and Professional Sellers
- Time limit between PMs lowered to 20 sec from 60sec

the search function is not working properly. its giving me pretty limited results and the captcha thing is just completely annoying. can there be a quick search option like on the old forums.
also theres a minimum character limit for posts which i dont see the point of.
also character limit of 150 characters for signatures is not enuff as it includes BB coding.
forum background is too bright. dark on light text is much easier to read.
general color scheme needs work. color differentiation between links and normal text etc etc.

thats all i got right now. overall tho not a bad effort.
 
1) What the hell does the feedback score mean? What it states right now is meaningless. I would recommend that you reword it or write a guide as to how it works.
2) Looks like BBCode is disabled...
3) Post title colors need to be changed and looks like the post titles need to be reworked.
4) With Trust Who forums, I can only see my own posts in the forums. Looks like the permissions need to be reworked.

That is all I see at the moment.

Another thing. There is no "Post List" like there was on the old site. I cannot find my posts so that they can be bumped. When I click my username and "View Forum Posts", I get 2 results.

It looks like EVERYTHING needs to be re-indexed because none of the millions of posts are going to come up under search unless you do so.
 
Have the quick reply already open so you don't have to click "Reply to Thread" every time to post.
iTrader page, all lot of dupe ratings / banned users on the Top Traders list.
Signature, there's a limit of 150 characters, should be increased.
The View Forum Leaders link near the bottom of the forum doesn't work.
Private messing should be enabled for everyone, just like it was at the old MMObay.
Since we can now edit our threads, allow us to change the thread title as well.
Only 100 private messages? We had 1000 at the old MMOBay. ;)

Well, seems EVERY single post that was transferred over that included ANY BBcode or HTML is now completely wrecked with HTML tags that are not recognized.

Did you guys do an IMPEX import or did someone write a script to bring things over? Because an IMPEX import from SMF is going to have a lot of issues now and down the road. Just talking from experience.
 
Big things ive come accross so far is:
PMing isnt automatically enabled, had to enable it myself in options.
Everyone who had PMs saved from the old forums automatically has a full PM box, so much much more space would be nice, I like to keep all the PMs from previous trades.
Search function isnt really working for all old threads, aswell as showing my past posts and created threads, im unable to find my rep thread.
Signature character limit needs to be turned up, I cant even put the link for my rep thread in it.

- CAPTCHA thing in search is insanely annoying. WTB Quick Search too.

- "Feedback Score" - I don't understand what this is. Clearly, it's tied to out reputation, but I still don't understand how it works.
 
Quick post = show by default enabled please.
Char Limit in posts: Please raise to 40-50k. (Guides / Rules don't fit!)
Admin / GMods: Ability to post HTML enabled. (Guides / Rules don't work)
 
i figured the colors there is no more color # codes its just color=whatever still with brackets no spaces [ color=blue ] [ /color] hi

my twv is not associated here now :(

text links need to be a different color then normal text, or underlined or something.
also just found out u are only currently able to leave 1 feedback score a day.

need to setup a system to associate mmobay accounts with trustwho. in the last forums my account was twv but is no longer on here and when i click the link to associate it is still linked to the old forums so it sends me here http://www.markeedragon.com/trustwho/associate.php

Reinstate some type of Accepting transactions for feedback. As annoying as it was sometimes was at the old forums, it prevents people from randomly giving other people feedback.


At this point in time, you can give feedback to anybody without their consent or such and such.

guests can view all of TWV section without registering, when logged in you can only see your posts in TWV, no TWV shows up for users, and our veteran ranks are gone. :-/
 
As chango said, feedback needs a huge overhaul as these kind of forums are made for things like anime groups and you can just spam feedback because you liked little Billie's Pokemon picture. I could have just left anyone some feedback, and I assume people that are not even TWV can leave it at this point without your permission. So you can have friends giving friends good feedback or people making multiple accounts and doing it. Thus they are more likely to get someone's trust; thus it is incredibly easy to scam.

Also once you do integrate TWV you'll have to find a way to erase all feedback that was given before TWV was required but not the feedback that was originally left on markee. Or people will not know which feedback is reliable and therefore feedback is pointless. Hello headache...I wish you guys luck.
 
i think it would be better to change the thread icons to make them easyer to tell if there is new threads or not. remove the hot thread icon and then change the new posts 1 so its easyer to tell if theres new posts, its alittle too similar to the no new posts icon. I think anyways

I'm working on the TWV and Professional sellers permissions now.
 
Links are click-able.

* not really a 'bug', but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
* also not sure if this is intentional or not, and I love it, but some people might not look before they click. (keyloggers, viruses, etc.)

Actually..now that I think about it, the links were click-able on the old site as well.. eh, oh well.
Useless post is useless.

We did not use IMPEX as the UBB forums were too big and VBulletin told Marcus it won't work. MD created their own importer and after they switched to VB, they kindly allowed us to use it.

Is it possible to differentiate between TWV rep and non-TWV rep (obviously after TWV support is added)? I think it would be extremely helpful to be able to quickly tell how many +feedbacks were given by TWV members, and how many were given by non-TWV members.

Although new accounts are limited to 1 feedback/24 hours, the system is still easily open to abuse.
 
It looks like you took away the option to edit posts. I can understand not having this option for buy/sell threads, but could you leave it on for the other forums?

Well, if you still have images turned off, do you have "Show Signatures, Avatars, Images" selected in the General Options? It's under Thread Display.

Not sure how high it is on your priority list but maybe change the appearance ASAP.

What first attracted me, and I'm sure a lot of people to markee, was how it looked. I ran across other buy/sell/trade forums when I wanted to sell my first account and they all looked like this. Markee looked entirely different and more trustworthy which is why I stopped there and eventually stayed there. Some people will say it's just cosmetics and I have my priorities wrong, but to anyone visiting a site, its design and layout is much more than simply "cosmetics." The design gives you the first impression of a site; of how much work has been put into it, and how legit it may or may not be.

As of now this looks like a basic vb forum that anyone might have thrown up in 5 minutes. It doesn't exactly scream "reputable."
 
what happened to the editing of posts, i was liking that learning all of the new codes and fixing the coding errors :/ could i have those privilages back? was having a little fun struggling around and playing around makes me feel smart :)
 
Edit feature for posts has been removed for all members.

Also: J_P_Devil is not banned, despite his user title. That should clear up soon. He helped me test some new features.

That's not cool, that's why I liked the TWV forums, because I knew that only TWV users could see them. Now when I make a post there, I will have to go through the extra trouble to make sure they are indeed who they say they are when they contact me. Telling people to post first will do no good because noone ever listens to it. So far I am not impressed with the change, but that may just be me.
