Dear EpicNPC Support,

I am writing to formally report a fraudulent transaction involving the seller "captainblackeye." Below, I will outline the sequence of events and provide evidence to support my claim that the seller has acted dishonestly.

1. Initial Contact and Agreement: I discovered the seller's advertisement for a Founder + Closed Beta account on EpicNPC. I initiated contact via EpicNPC and later continued communication through Discord, as specified in the seller's profile. We eventually agreed on a price of $350 USD.

2. Middleman Offer and Acceptance: To protect both parties, I proposed using a Middleman (MM) service, which the seller approved after several hours of discussion. The seller's approval of the MM offer is documented in the attached screenshots.

3. Payment and Transaction Initiation: Following the seller's acceptance of the MM, I paid the middleman fee and awaited further instructions. However, after several hours, the seller informed me that the account had already been sold to someone else. This occurred despite the seller having agreed to the MM process and while the listing was still active.

4. Evidence of Seller's Dishonesty:

  • Screenshots (Attachments 01-09) show the seller's explicit agreement to proceed with the MM process.
  • The seller's messages confirm acceptance of my MM offer but later contradict themselves by claiming the account was sold to another buyer.
  • The seller provided images of the account in Russian, despite their EpicNPC profile showing their location as Austria. This raises further suspicion.
5. Policy Violation: The seller indicated in their listing that transactions would be conducted using "Trade Guardian," a secure method. However, they failed to honor their own terms by selling the account outside the agreed MM process, leaving me without the account or my funds.

6. Request for Action: Given the evidence provided, I believe the seller acted in bad faith and intentionally misled me. I request the following actions:

  1. Investigation into the seller's actions.
  2. Appropriate penalties for the seller, including a possible ban, to prevent further fraudulent activities.
I appreciate your time and assistance in resolving this matter. Please feel free to reach out if additional information or clarification is needed.

Best regards,
@realbyx

If u would have read my advert u would know that i stated i want trade through Trade Guardian but NO MM. And this is legit. I thought u have read it, thats why i accepted the Request. Involving a MM in Warframe is bad. I alrdy experienced it bcs one time my account got banned duo the logins ( location changes) I also talked with multiple MM like ANGEL, they all told me to do trade preferable without MM. Thats what i did in another Transaction. The Account was sold as advertised through Trade Guardian but without MM and without Problems. I did nothing wrong.
And Still the proofs up there is nothing. I havent violated any rule.

There was no Transaction so ur Feeeback is wrongfull.

And if u would have listened to me. You get ur paid MM fees back. U havent paid anything else then the fees. My recommendation to u for next time is. Please read more carefully the conditions from Sellers etc

Dear EpicNPC Support,

Following up on my previous report regarding the fraudulent transaction involving the seller "captainblackeye," I would like to address the seller's recent responses and clarify key points based on their statements, along with relevant references to EpicNPC's Terms & Conditions.

Seller's Defense and Contradictions:

  1. The seller claimed that their listing specified Trade Guardian without MM and stated they had prior issues with MM due to location-based bans. However:
    • The listing does not explicitly exclude MM and instead promotes Trade Guardian as a secure method, which includes MM as a standard option.
    • The seller explicitly accepted my MM offer and engaged in the process, only to cancel after I paid the MM fee.
    • Their argument about bans due to location changes is irrelevant, as they initially agreed to the MM process and later contradicted themselves.
  2. The seller presented evidence of another transaction that allegedly followed their stated method without MM. However:
    • This transaction is unrelated to my case and cannot justify breaching our agreement after accepting the MM.
    • Providing unrelated proof does not excuse their failure to honor the terms agreed upon with me.
  3. The seller accused me of not carefully reading their listing and insisted that MM was never an option. However:
    • Their acceptance of the MM process contradicts this claim and demonstrates that they acted in bad faith.
    • Screenshots of our conversations clearly show their approval of MM before they later retracted it without valid justification.
  4. The seller suggested that I cancel the MM process to recover my fee, implying no responsibility for their actions. However:
    • The MM fee was paid based on the seller's acceptance, and their sudden withdrawal forced me into this situation.
    • Their suggestion disregards the time and effort I invested in this process and fails to address their breach of agreement.
Terms & Conditions Violations:

  1. EpicNPC Terms (Section 8.1, 8.3):
    • Trade Guardian processes are meant to provide protection and security. While EpicNPC is not directly responsible for account issues, sellers must act in good faith and honor agreements made through these systems.
    • The seller's refusal to finalize the process after accepting MM undermines the integrity of Trade Guardian services.
  2. Breach of Acceptable Use Policy:
    • EpicNPC explicitly prohibits behavior that is fraudulent, misleading, or abusive under its Acceptable Use Policy. The seller's actions align with these prohibited behaviors.
  3. Violation of Trust and Misrepresentation:
    • By initially agreeing to an MM process and then retracting it after the MM fee was paid, the seller demonstrated bad faith, violating the principles of fair trading as required by EpicNPC's guidelines.
Request for Action: I request EpicNPC to:

  1. Investigate the seller's conduct thoroughly, including their misleading claims and breach of agreement.
  2. Impose appropriate penalties on the seller to prevent similar incidents and protect other users.
I have attached additional evidence supporting my claims and am available to provide further information if required. Thank you for your time and assistance in resolving this matter.

Best regards,
@realbyx

Thats not clear for u? Thats not enough that i dont do trade with MM in Warframe? For u its irrelevant but for me not. I want my Account to be safe and not getting forced into a situation where my Account gets banned. I got the damage then not the buyer. So i am not doing anything, which can risk my Account. In ur Pictures there is nothing about MM? I havent said MM is okay. And sorry that i dont check every trade offer. I thought and trusted that u read and understand my point.

You say Trade Guardian is for security. That's true. Have you suffered any damage? Financially? No, because you get your middleman fees back. Ultimately, it's about ensuring fairness and a safe environment for both sides. But as long as I don't sell you the account or a transaction takes place, I can reject or cancel a Grade Guardian offer. Or I can sell the account to whoever I want until then! Especially since you ignored my conditions, which I explicitly stated.

Fraudulent transaction? There was never a transaction!! The CM told you to provide proof of the transaction but not to write such nonsense. There was no transaction and your screenshots confirm this.

Everything you describe has already been processed by the CM and he said everything is OK! This thread is about the fact that you gave me feedback even though no exchange took place! Therefore, you are the one who violated the rules. Stop blowing things up. This is a tiny matter and only about the fact that you gave me feedback illegally!

Dear EpicNPC Support,

Following up on my previous report, I would like to address the seller's latest responses and further clarify why their actions are misleading and violate EpicNPC's Terms & Conditions. Below is my rebuttal to their statements, along with relevant references to EpicNPC policies.

Seller's Latest Defense and My Rebuttal:

  1. Seller Claims They Explicitly Stated No MM:
    • The seller claims they made it clear they do not trade using MM. However, their listing only mentioned a preference for Trade Guardian without explicitly excluding MM as part of the process.
    • Despite this, the seller accepted my MM offer, which constitutes agreement to proceed via MM. Screenshots prove this acceptance.
    • EpicNPC's Terms & Conditions (Section 8.3) acknowledge Trade Guardian as a method designed to ensure secure transactions, including MM as a valid option.
  2. Seller Cites Account Safety Concerns:
    • The seller states their refusal to use MM is due to concerns about account bans related to location changes. However, these concerns were not mentioned during initial negotiations and only surfaced after accepting the MM process.
    • The seller's change of stance after my payment of the MM fee reflects bad faith and violates the principle of fairness outlined in EpicNPC's Terms.
  3. Seller Argues No Financial Damage Occurred:
    • The seller claims I suffered no financial damage because the MM fee can be refunded. However, EpicNPC's Terms (Section 8.6) clearly state that cancellations after MM initiation incur fees and wasted time for the buyer.
    • Additionally, EpicNPC's policies emphasize fairness and preventing time-wasting practices. The seller's sudden cancellation breached this principle.
  4. Seller Denies a Transaction Took Place:
    • The seller claims no transaction occurred and insists my evidence does not prove an agreement. This is false.
    • Accepting the MM request and agreeing to proceed constitutes the beginning of a transaction process under EpicNPC's policies.
    • EpicNPC Terms (Section 8.1) state that sellers are responsible for honoring agreements made via Trade Guardian services, which includes MM.
  5. Seller Claims I Violated Rules by Leaving Feedback:
    • The seller claims my feedback violated the rules since no transaction was completed. However, EpicNPC rules allow feedback based on the seller's behavior during the negotiation and MM process.
    • The seller's misleading statements, acceptance of MM, and subsequent withdrawal justify feedback reflecting their unprofessional behavior.
Conclusion and Request for Action: Given the seller's continued attempts to mislead and deflect responsibility, I request EpicNPC to:

  1. Conduct a thorough review of the seller's actions and inconsistencies.
  2. Confirm that the seller violated EpicNPC's Terms & Conditions by canceling the agreed process without justification.
  3. Ensure that the seller faces appropriate penalties for breaching trust and fairness principles.
  4. Support my right to leave feedback highlighting the seller's unprofessional and misleading actions.
I appreciate EpicNPC's assistance in handling this matter fairly and transparently. Please feel free to request additional evidence or clarification as needed.

Best regards,
@realbyx

Why is this false send me a proof of transaction and exchange. Paying the MM Fee and opening an Transaction Request isnt meant with that. A transaction related to my account. Like a real payment to me. Partialpayment etc.

  1. Seller Claims No Transaction Took Place Without Payment:
    • The seller argues that no transaction occurred since no payment was made directly to them. However, EpicNPC's Terms (Section 8.1) state that initiating a Trade Guardian process, including the payment of MM fees, constitutes the start of a transaction.
    • The seller explicitly agreed to proceed with MM, which created a binding agreement to complete the transaction under the Trade Guardian system.
    • Backing out of this agreement after the MM fee was paid demonstrates bad faith and violates the fair trading principles outlined by EpicNPC.
  2. Seller Ignores MM Fee as a Valid Commitment:
    • While the seller dismisses the MM fee payment as irrelevant, EpicNPC's Terms (Section 8.6) highlight that MM fees are integral to Trade Guardian transactions. Once the MM fee is paid and the process is initiated, the seller is expected to follow through unless a valid reason for cancellation is provided.
    • The seller provided no valid justification for canceling the process and instead cited personal concerns about account security, which were never disclosed before accepting the MM process.
  3. Seller Claims No Financial Loss Occurred:
    • The seller argues that no financial loss occurred since the MM fee could be refunded. However, this ignores the time, effort, and administrative costs I incurred due to their sudden cancellation.
    • EpicNPC emphasizes fairness and accountability (Section 8.1), and the seller's actions contradict these principles by wasting resources and misleading the buyer.
  4. Seller Denies Agreement to MM Despite Evidence:
    • Screenshots clearly show the seller agreeing to the MM process. Claiming otherwise is an attempt to evade responsibility.
    • EpicNPC's policies expect honesty and good faith from sellers, and the seller's attempt to shift blame reflects a breach of trust.
  5. Seller's Feedback Complaint:
    • The seller claims I violated rules by leaving feedback. However, EpicNPC rules permit feedback based on seller behavior, even if the transaction is not finalized, especially when the seller backs out without justification.
    • My feedback accurately reflects the seller's unprofessional conduct and is justified based on EpicNPC's Acceptable Use Policy.

Best regards,
@realbyx
