I had a person message me on skype about my GW 2 account that I have on sale and before dealing with me they asked me to msg them on epicnpc mentioning acc to confirm myself so I copy pasted that message they sent me on skype.

Question how did you reconfirm me?

They did a double sided scam where the impersonator has the real member contact the member the impersonator is scamming. This is why PM's are the worst way to confirm ID

From experience posting in threads with what chat account you are speaking to them on. You can do that in pm too. Never copy a message or anything like that.
