I messaged a seller privately on one of various Discord accounts to check on an item he was selling. There was no transaction because the seller was quick to accuse me of being a scammer when I requested a blurred image of the item code on a box with their username and the current date/time on a piece of paper to ensure they
1. had the item in question and
2. wasn't just stealing someone else's photo of the item from eBay or wherever. They proceeded to get very defensive with me and accused me of trying to steal their code when it would be impossible to steal any code if the image is blurred anyway? And it would equally be impossible to use their photos to scam other users if their EpicNPC username was on the image with at least the date on it. Anyone could simply ask for a new photo with a new date and I wouldn't be able to provide it.
Regardless, the hostility from a brand-new account trying to sell an extremely rare item code for which they have no proof is highly indicative of a scammer.
This feedback is merely salt because I left a reply in his sales thread warning people not to get scammed because he can't provide proof that any seller of such a limited quantity item should be able to have.
