Hey guys just a suggestion -- the names that have BANNED written on them -- perhaps we can create a link that attaches to it why they were banned? -- In case we see a pattern of someone who has been banned previously (so we can compare names in the forum and kind of give us a heads up beforehand) -- People tend to troll the same threads they previously had tried to scam with similar/same usernames...

It also will help the users kind of say hey I remember this same scenario he had made where he offered the same account 2-2.5 weeks ago (for example)

A search was added to the Ban List last week so you can now easily look up anyone that has been banned to find out the reason why.

Adding a link to the profile would definitely speed up the process, but I'm not sure if it's possible. What would the URL link to? The ban list does not have a unique URL for every banned member, it's just a list, so the URL would have to be a search URL which would cause major server load issues. Or the ban list would have to be modified so every ban user on the list has a URL.

A third option would be to modify the profile page and add the ban reason directly there. Im not a fan of doing this as it would be a custom edit which would get undone everytime VB need to be updated, so I try to say away from addons that require direct edits.

I know it seems like a simple change, but this would be quite complicated to implement. I think the search box on the ban list does the trick.

Gotcha -- well that helps with the search function to make sure you can find someone who has similar names etc. -- Thanks for always improving the site man -- we all appreciate you trying to make it a safer/better community on here one improvement at a time
