Epic Member Upgrade - Phone Number?

I just purchased the epic member upgrade today but didn't realise I needed a phone number, which is alright since I have a phone, problem is I can't find an option in the settings to add a phone number (maybe I'm blind) except maybe 2 step factor authentication?

Problem is I removed my phone camera 3 months ago due to my new job having extremely high security clearance which doesn't allow its employees to bring in any phones with cameras.

Is there a way for me to add my phone number without the 2 factor authentication or did I just blow $4?

Did you pay with verified PayPal or BTC? There should be a way to add your phone number in the settings. Adding authenticator protects your account.. highly recommend! ^^

Paid via paypal which is verified, I must be really blind, could u direct me on how to add a phone number? Authenticator is out of the question for me since I no longer have a phone camera.

You don't need camera for google app / authenticator. It's an app for your smartphone that randomly generates a unique set of numbers every so often.

I'm still unable to find the option of adding a phone number in the settings

Edit: managed to add the authenticator with my tablet.

Edit 2: I somehow unknowingly added my phone number verification earlier this month, checked my phone SMS and found one from epicnpc.

Didn't receive any prompt to enter my phone number during payment process/ receive phone sms verfication so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You already have a phone number verified to your account from Dec 5th. You can't create threads or give feedback without verifying a phone number, so most likely you did it and forgot. When upgrading, we don't ask to verify the phone number again that's why you didn't have to do that step when you upgraded yesterday.
