Short of screen sharing is there any other advice to stop people from screwing around when selling them a WoD key for example ?

Blizzard would probably be 0 help if a person attempted to contact them with the key & confirm where it was used..

Middle man wouldn't really help for 2 reasons.. nothin' stops the buyer from telling the middleman the key didn't work either.. even showin' a saved screenshot of key used.. & just putting the key in the text field.. & the profit is fairly minimal key per key anyway so would probably be a loss at that point..

It'd be nice to always deal with reputable people that didn't screw around buuuut that'll never happen >.<

I'm not really looking for check their location.. whether they appear to be using a vpn.. google their paypal address.. make sure the paypal account is verified & you can send that account an email & get a response..

I'd just like to know if there are any other measures I'm not aware of to actually verify whether or not a key applied successfully..

blizzard will tell you if a key has been used and if so when. they are very helpful with this information.

And if you are selling blizzard keys this can be very profitable depending on how you buy them. volume is the key. I personally burn though keys after i buy quickly. usually few weeks to a month, when botting you constantly need new keys.

in your experiences what sort of information are they willing to provide ?

they may say the key was used today at this time..

will they provide anything else ?

I'm thinking of selling some keys but I worry every single transaction on a scammer saying doesn't work wtf wtf wtf

Activate the keys yourself (connect to the buyer via teamviewer and use the key). If the buyer does not want to use the key at once, don't offer a guarantee. That's what I do as a MM when keys/gift codes and similar things are involved, and it works. :p

well.. I'm admittedly not very informed but the scenario I see happening is..

I buy key from you.. I even pay first fine whatever..

i come back & say bro.. bro.. BRO.. key doesn't work bro.. I'm chargin' back bro.. you're a scammer bro.. wtf bro.. wtf wtf wtf..

& all along I just have either a screenshot of a failed key attempt or it's not hard to put something bad into the key field on battle.net for example & claim I tried your key..

I agree the screen sharing is ideal.. isn't always something people want to do :-/

& using a middle man.. kinda takes the profit out of key sales since there isn't a ton of profit to be had anyway..

Most people probably aren't that terrible.. & I've had successes a lot dealing with people.. only once have I gotten burnt in my very limited travels & it was as a buyer..
