Egamingsupply.net has been Hacked! - Details Inside

This morning I logged into my personal email account to have an email from "[email protected]".

With the following email:

******* by http://www.xxxx/ crackz team with help from DDOS-CREW-RU. Patch vBulletin and build super firewall to avoid combo DDOS-hole admin crack n00bz! we have all ur data now. even private info but dont worry, just do as we say and fix ur server and forum!

somebody called gamemonarchLLC ******* EGS read pm script and made it not secure. lolz pwned!! all PMS stolen and downloaded. if u want them not published on internet send us $10000USD at http://www.xxxx/"</span>

They have my actual Egamingsupply.net Login listed and my email attached to the account, so this isn't a fake email. I'm also unable to get a hold of anyone from the company.

Egamingsupply if you are out there, please respond to us as I do not want my personal information to be posted!

I also recommend not doing any business with the company till after they resolve the issue with the hack.

Ok finally received word back.

The site was indeed hacked. They get get a hold of the mailing list but its unclear what if any damage was done.

The site is now secure again to use.

Hello guys,

This is Monarch from EGS. From what I see the hackers were only able to access the mailing list and just sent out a mass email to all of our members. The exploit has been since now been patched.

The only thing that the "hacker" claims to have stolen was members PMs. I do doubt this, though.

I do apologize to everyone that this has happened but rest assured that we will strive to do our best to not let this happen again. We've been facing many obstacles along our road to success only to rise up against them.
