Now before I even start let me state that I do realize that this is a person impersonating the actual Boom_Boosting account on this website, that is not the point of this post. The point of this post is to warn people that do ever get dmd by this person on discord.
So I was trying to sell my Fortnite account and then I had gotten a message on this discord from him saying that he wanted to buy. I asked to see his epic npc account and this is what he sent.

Now as you can see I decided to trust him because the account looked legit and matched the discord tag he had. Eventually I gave him the details for the account but he never paid back. He told me that his PayPal wasn’t working so he’d pay me in a couple days. I was desperate and just wanted to get this account sold so I waited.
So at this point I had waited for 3 days without getting paid and he still had the account. I still kind of trusted him because if he really wanted to scam me why didn’t he just block me and disappear at this point. Eventually though I had gotten tired of waiting so I decided to take the account back by contacting epic games customer support. He wasn’t very happy with that.
Now at this point he wanted my email that I used to create the Fortnite account. (the reason he didn’t have it already was because the email for the account was changed to a different email which is the one I gave him) The issue with this is that that email is my main personal email and I don’t want him having access to my personal ****. So I didn’t want to give him it but at the same time I still wanted to sell this account and wasn’t sure what to do. I decided to check out the epic npc account that he had said was his because at this point I was starting to get suspicious. I noticed that there were a couple of posts related to this account saying they had been scammed and I thought that that was kinda weird especially since they’ve all been scammed via discord. I did a little more digging and found out that the Boom_Boosting epic npc account stated that they had nothing to do with this discord account and that it was a fake.
Now at this point I didn’t trust this guy on discord at all but I still needed to check one more thing. I wanted to make sure that the discord account was different from the epic npc account. I noticed that they had the same discord tag so you could say that they were the same person… right? That’s where you’d be wrong. The discord account has discord nitro and they had gotten it pretty recently so now I had assumed that he had changed his discord tag to the actual Boom_Boostings one to pretend to be someone he wasn’t. I still had no proof to back this up though so I did a little more digging. Eventually I found out that the epic npc account even has their discord ID posted in their bio so I decided to check if it matched the discord account, it didn’t.

At this point it was obvious to me that these are two different people so I decided to confront the fake and ask him some questions.
As you can see once I started questioning him he got scared and blocked me. It’s a good thing I didn’t get scammed but I was still very close to it. I could easily see other people getting scammed so I wanted to make this post as a message to not trade with any account named Boom_Boosting on discord unless they have the same ID and everything else matches up. But at the end of the day you shouldn’t trade with anyone on discord in the first place. Do not make the same mistake as me and get desperate, just trade with them on this website and make sure they’re legit because trust me it’s not worth the risk. Unfortunately I dont know if there is a way to get this guy banned since all I know is his fake discord but if any of you have information or ideas on how to get him banned let me know. Ultimately I’m glad I didn’t get scammed and hopefully this doesn’t happen to any one else either.
