bought diablo account account then two years later he recovers account. sad.

I purchased their Diablo 3 account, which also included Overwatch legendary edition, World of Warcraft with Cataclysm Collector Edition, and Legion Deluxe Edition. I communicated with the seller on Discord and asked some questions about the account and why they were selling it. After our conversation, we negotiated a price, and once I felt comfortable with them, I sent the payment. Once the payment was confirmed, they assisted me in logging into the account, changing passwords, and completing the transaction.

I played the game on and off, and everything was fine until 2021. However, a few months ago in 2023, they decided to regain access to the account with the help of Blizzard support, kicked me out, and then disappeared by deleting their Discord account and blocking me from contacting them via email.
I'm not extremely sad, but rather disappointed. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've been scammed in a similar manner, so I somewhat knew that this would happening again. The seller seemed inexperienced in selling accounts, so during our conversations, I advised them to be cautious if they decide to sell more accounts in the future. I also shared some of my own experiences, as I am relatively new to buying and selling accounts as well.

Interestingly, the person had a reputable eBay store with positive reviews before I purchased their Diablo 3 account. It's ironic because I suggested they keep the account and continue playing on PC once their studies or work were finished and had more time. However, they insisted it was fine and that they would switch to console gaming. It appears they had a change of heart and either returned to PC gaming or encountered financial difficulties and attempted to sell the account on a different platform.

I've learned my lesson and will now avoid purchasing Blizzard accounts altogether. I hope anyone who comes across this message learns about the risks involved and refrains from investing their money in accounts that seem too good to be true when sold online.
